Dee: Common, Elven, Draconic (language of the dragons), Snaketongue (usually the Yuan-ti ability to talk to snakes), Sylvan (language of the faeries), a touch of Primordial, Undercommon, Spidertongue (drow language to talk to spiders and drow-aligned beasts), Yuan-ti, Druidic (language of the druids), Gnomish, Halfling, Orcish, and Goblin.
Patton: Common, Dwarven, and Halfing.
Logan: Common, Infernal (language of the Demons), Undercommon, a few words of Spidertongue, Orcish, Sylvan, a touch of Goblin.
Virgil: Common, Undercommon, Spidertongue, Sylvan, a few words of orcish, Goblin, and Elven.

So pat, how did you meet dee and Logan?
(Patton frowns at the thought.)
Patton: I was... in jail for a night because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and Logan was thrown in with me at the same time because of some racist pricks that judge him by the fact that he’s a tiefling and threw him in with me even when he did absolutely nothing wrong.
Patton: Me and Logan got to talking and became fast friends from being imprisoned together.Â

Patton: Dee was able to sneak into the jail and get us out. Unfortunately, a creepy crawly death dealer scared me half to death and we all had to book it out of there. I was just 27 then, and my arachnophobia was much stronger. And we’ve all been together ever since!
Logan, how often do you hear whispers? There seems to be a lot around here. - 🌫
Logan: A fair amount, Dee and I have a fair amount of so-called ‘whisper pills’ that we can stop them when they get to be too much. Patton doesn’t have as much trouble as he just hears whispers talking directly to him.
So what are you guys doing right now (besides the obvious sitting and talking to us)? You traveling with a purpose or just living life to the fullest?
Logan: I am sworn to uphold the law of the lands I inhabit as a purpose. I have not broken my oath despite the fact I was banished as I did not consciously act against the kingdom and therefore break my oath. So I still strive to uphold the laws of the land, especially with Dee here.
(Dee hisses at Logan not unlike a cat.)
Patton: I am a bard, so I try to inspire people with my playing and magic, I love to watch other’s smile!
Thomas:Â ....Surviving.
(Dee doesn’t answer as he can’t hear you.)

Thanks, Patton. I’ll make sure to be careful if I talk to Dee again. Um, so where are you guys going?
Patton: I’m always here to help!
Patton: Well, we heard that something was happening in Rótaldë and Logan was getting… like… REALLY worried about it, so we set out a little under a day ago toward Rótaldë, and the quickest way was through this forest, so this was the path we took.Â
(You suspect he’s leaving some context out, but perhaps you can ask Logan about what Patton’s leaving out)
Patton, what were you doing before you met logan and Dee in the jail? Why were you on your own?
Patton: My family died when I was 23 and no one else wanted to have me, so I had to survive on my own for 4-5 years before I met Logan and Dee.
What do you mean Patton ran off eve? Did he just leave without saying goodbye?
Eve: Yes, but he came back later and apologized, told me why and everything. Again, he was still a child back then. I think he became an adult a few weeks ago?Â
(Eve pauses a moment, counting something before facepalming.)
Eve: Fuck me, 3 years ago!Â
(Eve shakes her head.)
Eve: I wish I was better at keeping track of time.
