I was looking for a better way to store all of my sewing patterns (for whatever reason in the process of my clean-up, I just don’t want to get rid of any of those), and I thought this method made a lot of sense since it works well with the way I store my patterns now.
I am currently using plastic shoeboxes, but I think I can fit most if not all of my patterns in one long box. I already store additional/modified pattern pieces in plastic bags, so this method will tidy that up quite a bit and pairing that with photo cataloging will make referencing them soooo much easier.
I am actually excited to get it all done, I just have to make the trek to my local comic book store to by the boxes, boards, and bags.
PS
The Marie Kondo method has finally clicked with me, I have been hard at work organizing, decluttering, and figuring myself and my collection out. I still have a fair amount of work to do, but I am excited and inspired by my progress. :D
