Moron strikes again!
So back in 2005, when I was young and dumb and knew NOTHING about pattern drafting, alteration, or much of anything, I would make these stupid decisions.
Like throw away a pattern piece. That was pretty typical of me. But tonight I discovered a new, brilliant piece of idiocy.
I tore the strap off a bodice.
I don't know why. Or where the strap is. But I DO know how to pull out my fancy ruler with the round bits and redraft a new one. I have managed to pull it off, and it looks right, measures correctly, and I'm happy with it.
But geez, I wish the Doctor would go back and smack my hand every time I tear off/throw away a piece!
