FEATURED ARTIST: Patrick Jackson

Patrick Jackson lives and works in Los Angeles, and studied at San Francisco Art Institute (BFA) and the University of Southern California (MFA).  On his work, he writes: “I’m thinking about the structure of the larger world and how it steers a body through physical and psychological space. The architecture and place where I exhibit is often a starting point; me, my family and subconscious fill the rest.” Jackson will open his third solo exhibition at Ghebaly Gallery, Los Angeles on June 10th. In May 2017, Jackson will have a solo exhibition at The Wattis Institute, San Francisco.  He has had solo exhibitions Nicole Klagsbrun, New York; Ghebaly Gallery, Los Angeles; and Galerie Vallois, Paris; and has participated in group exhibitions at Gavin Brown enterprise, New York; Richard Telles, Los Angeles; C L E A R I N G, New York; The Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; The Banff Center, Canada; CAPC Musée d’Art Contemporain, Bordeaux; and The Soap Factory, Minneapolis.
