Okay, so when I first started to answer this, I went on this weird tangent about how it’s a really bad habit of mine to consider myself a failure if I’m not great at something within 24 hours of starting it. Then that lead to the “my mother pushed her unrealistic self-standards onto me” rant. Then I realized that I had mommy issues and needed to dial it back a little.BUT! Thank you very much, darling! I get more frustrated with myself than sad though. I realize it’s because I have trouble prioritizing things (like my personal self-care), but I’m working on it.
