It can be frustrating to feel oneself working less, casting less, reading less, etc in one's practice. But it's important to remember that there is more than working, casting, reading, etc. Sometimes we cast less because we are connecting more, creating more, crafting more. Sometimes we read less because we are researching more, reflecting more, resting more. Sometimes we work less because there are other things to our crafts than the actual workings.
For some people, the workings are constant and big and performed in meticulously drawn out circles with the correct seals on the correct candles all placed in the correct spot within the space. And that's fine. But, for some people, witchcraft ebbs and flows with life, workings are done in the kitchen, and much of the grimoire is in our noggins. Magic can look as much like connection as it can candles and workings and bells. Magic can look as much like cross-stitching and blessing in doorframes and folk art and walking in the woods as it can creating the right circle in the right hour on the appropriate day. All that to say, you're not "less witchy" because you went a week without lighting a candle or shuffling cards; you're probably just focused on another area of your magical/spiritual life.
