The Patchlight safety light kindly sent to me by the good folks at Survival Depot is a LED strobe and reflective SOLAS type velcro backed marker .
Its waterproof , shockproof and can be attached direct to your pack/ jacket or gear with loop panels with its hook velcro back .
3 different modes of either 2 speeds of strobe or constant on with 200 hours run-time on steady or 315 hours on fast strobe all visible up to 1km away . The Prismatic Hex layer amplifies the LED light and also reflects incoming light to flash silver white even when the battery fails .
The complete kit comes with an adjustable arm band ideal for night time running or cycling and spare adhesive backed loop panels and weighs in around 15 grams .
