"Hmm, wha---?" Movements, which felt more instinctual than anything else, found near immediate resistance, halting him in his tracks. He had to truly open his eyes and focus to see that it was the hand of a stranger, decidedly rejecting any other action he might fathom he take instead. His body openly accepted the bold refusal, head flopping back against the pillow.
Soft bed, with warm fluffy blankets. How long had it been since he'd been able to hunker down in a real bed? In a real room? Not the woods or the hard patch of something or other he was normally exposed to instead.
"What building fell on me?" He asked to no one in particular. Or....
... the stranger he then remembered had guided him back to laying down.
"Wait." He squinted, the quintessential act of 'sharpening' the vision and enhancing the ability to process puzzling situations [if only it really worked that way in reality]. "I know you. I mean, I've talked to you before?" Which wasn't exactly the same thing.
