It feels so weird to be at the end of the Brotherhood. I've been checking this for what, half a year now? More? And now it's over. What a fantastic ride and rewrite of one of the worst parts of the Pendersfest, that made everyone engaging and memorable. Congrats!
Writing this series has definitely transformed a little, and I’m super grateful for that! Prior to starting these ‘shows’ I had been so exhausted and beaten down from my job that I hadn’t written basically anything in like 5 years, and I had even started to think that it was never really going to happen for me and it would only ever be a pipe dream. Even though The Brotherhood is really only fanfiction, it’s still 1) gotten me used to writing regularly again, 2) exercised a lot of long-dormant muscles in terms of narrative theory, 3) kept me focused on a goal long-term, and 4) proved to me that I CAN tell a story that people actually want to read. It’s gotten me to a place where I can confidently say I AM a writer, and it makes me feel a lot more confident that I CAN get something published some day!
Thank you, along with everyone else reading, for supporting the story for so long! I’ve said over and over that you guys are a big part of why this succeeded, because I probably would’ve fizzled out a long time ago without knowing that people were enjoying it and wanted more!

it’s not much of a story, but there is one.
My previous online alias of “Agastya” was never really meant to become a primary alias. It originated as a throwaway name so I could break into the Touhou community as I began posting ROM hacking projects.
The name “Agastya” itself was chosen as it is the name of my favorite Mag in Phantasy Star Online. (Mags are just a piece of equipment that float around your character and boost your stats.)
However, as time passed, I learned that the vast majority of Mags in PSO are named after various Hindu figures, primarily deities.

I was becoming more and more uncomfortable with taking the name of a religious figure that I know next to nothing about, so a few days back I decided to slowly start moving to a new name, once again based on PSO equipment: Mille Marteaux (or simply just “Marteaux” in most cases).
It’s only fitting that I continue to name myself after high-end equipment in one of my favorite games, but this time I take the name proudly as my own choice instead of as a name I picked on a whim to be identifiable on otherwise anonymous imageboards.
Also, as a fun fact, “Mille Marteaux” is french for “Thousand Hammers.”
The weapon in question is a powerful machine gun that is capable of orbital strikes.

i enjoyed Gensou Wanderer and Double Focus quite a lot but i have the feeling that finding them at a bargain price of $20 for the pack affected my opinion. haven't played Scarlet Curiosity yet but I played the preceding game with Youmu and liked it. As for Genso Rondo... tried it at a friend's place. Resounding meh.
