Sports Nutritionist Certification
I am super lucky to work for a company that allows me to better myself professionally. In 2011, they sent me to Las Vegas to take the certification exam for the CISSN -- Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (See more at: http://www.sportsnutritionsociety.org/CISSN.html#sthash.DDjCxw1u.dpuf).
With said certification, I am able to counsel athletes on nutrition and supplements. I have learned so much from the ISSN and continue to learn more. I took another exam online today to earn some CEU's and stay current, which I got 100% on by the way! It sort of makes me miss school :(
Taking the exam today also got me thinking about getting back to counseling athletes again. I got too busy last time I attempted this, but I think I can handle it now. Plus, with 3 more years of experience in the sports nutrition industry (I formulate for a major sports supplement company), I know I have a lot more to offer athletes and exercise enthusiasts.
Yesterday's breakfast: Taco Turkey Egg Scramble :) so yummy and filling! And such an easy paleo breakfast
