Synapse concentrated on the road ahead, but the rain was pelting down hard.

“Keep an eye out”

Lumi noticed Synapse forgot to put his glasses on and tapped his shoulder.

“Would help if you had your glasses on”

Synapse realised and quickly put his glasses back on.

“Thanks, Lumi”

Lumi smiled and looked ahead before gasping in surprise.

“Stop the car!”

Synapse immediately hits the brakes as Sinapse behind also managed to hit the breaks in time.

“What is it Lumi?”

Lumi pointed ahead to which Synapse looked and was surprised.

“Vanna?”

Vanna was huddled up on the ground in the middle of the road as a male approached her from another road with a knife at the ready.

“Hey!”

Synapse immediately honked the car horn to draw the male’s attention; they recognise the male as one of the bullies on the wharf.

“Vanna! move!”

Synapse called out through the open window as the male blinked.

“Get away! This is mine!”

Lumi immediately unbuckled her seatbelt and hopped out the car.

“Leave her alone!”

Vanna immediately recognised Lumi and made her way over.

“Get back here!”

The male would have chased after were it not for a hand reaching out from around the corner and yanking the male away.

“Lumi!”

Vanna immediately hugged Lumi as she took her coat off and wrapped it around Vanna carefully.

“Are you alright? What happened?”

Vanna nodded slowly as Lumi brushed Vanna’s hair to the side.

“I’m ok… But…”

The implied but made Lumi worry and so did Synapse from the car.

“Where is Char?”

Vanna pointed to the road in which the male got dragged off in.

“Lumi get her in my car, we can go to work and look after her there”

Sinapse called out as Lumi took Vanna carefully to Sinapse’s car and both got into the backseat.

“I’ll keep going and look for Char”

Synapse called out as Lumi closed the door behind her.

“I’ll cover your shift tonight bro, just be safe”

Synapse gave a faint smile as Sinapse backed away and turned around.

Sentinel rolled over, the screams of Ivy he had expected, Chosen not so much. He got out of bed and knocked o the door

"Noo. Don't come in!"

"What is going on?"

"Just...don't come in..."

"Then talk to me chosen."

"I...I need Lies...something happened.."

Sentinel sighed and nodded. "Aye, I will get him." A few moments latter sentinel knocked on his door "Lies"

Lies stepped out in her night gown, yawning. "Aye?"

"Chosen.... She needs you, I do not know why."

"I'm coming." She followed her brother in law

Sentinel knocked on the door. "Lies is here..."

Lies slipped in, kneeling next to Chosen. They speak softly to each other and Lies held her close, concentrating. After a moment she shook her head. "I can't reverse it."

"What is it." Sentinel spoke

"With the birth of the baby. Her body tried to change back...but it left it in a middle state of male and female...and still utterly viable>'

"So..... she has both genitals...?"

"Aye." Lies nodded.

"Alright.... that is..... different, but not bad...."

"Show her that...don't just tell." Lies stood.

"I just found out." He defended He walked into the bathroom and kissed her. "Chosen, you are mine, no matter what."

Lies left to let them rebound. Chosen looked unsure, trying to cover herself.

"chosen." He whispered going for her hands. "No matter what, I will love you."

She looked away, as he uncovered her.

"Look at me." he whispered.

She hesitantly looked up.

"Male form, female form, or both you are my spouse and I will always love you."

Tears welled up

"Do you believe that?"

She nodded burrowing against him

She nuzzled against him

She nuzzled his chest

"Come back to bed with me. Rest before Ivy wakes up again.

She nods some.

sentinel scooped her up and brought her back to bed. "Did you get any sleep during the night?"

"Some." She murmured, resting her head on his shoulder. "Ivy's rest was not a restful one."

"it was her first night, she should grow out of it."

She nodded, yawning a little.

"Sleep, if she wakes up I will tend to her."

"Are you sure?"

"Aye, rest love."

She curled close to him, clinging to him some

"She is beautiful Chosen, a beautiful baby girl with my name,"

She looked up at him. "When she's old enough...would you want another?"

"Of course." He whispered "I want many with you."

She slowly relaxed

Sentinel pet her hair

"Sentinel..." She hummed softly

"Rest Chosen. I will remain here."

She nodded, eyes drifting close.

He kissed her forehead.

She mumbles happily, cuddling closer

She continued to stroke her back.

She drifts off, her hold loosening

Sentinel kept holding onto her only pealing away when Ivy cried out.

Chosen would be awake when he returned

Sentinel came in with a fussing baby in his arms, not crying, just making noise.

"Hungry?" She asked sleepily

"I think she is."

She held out her arms.

Sentinel passed her over.
