PARK(ing) Day Pittsburgh _ Liberty Ave., Bloomfield
“PARK(ing) Day is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks.”
As part of PARK(ing) Day Pittsburgh, Bloomfield Livable Streets & Bloomfield Development Corporation hosted a parking space right on the Liberty Ave. Business Corridor between Pearl & Taylor.  The highly-visible location featured a picnic table, chairs, bicycle stand, and an inflatable pool complete with a mushroom (dubbed the Bloomfield Beach-ette).
OG Steering Committee member, Sara Innamorato, sporting an original Pittsburgh PARK(ing) Day shirt!
Giorno Di Parcheggio = PARK(ing) Day in Italian
1 Vehicle Parking Spot = 14 Bicycle Parking Spots.

My Master of Urban Design studio brought their model of Bloomfield and an interactive map.
Spontaneous pop-up DJ.

Développer la communauté de participants (partenariats, actions sur les réseaux sociaux)
