I heard itās a very popular game! I had to drag my friend away from it the other day (she had been playing for nearly 12 hours!). Thanks for the help! Iāll most likely need it lol. I will definitely name the wolves after the teen wolf characters! XD Stiles too even though heās not a wolf (yet). That show really needs to come backā¦ I need season 3Ā O.o
i think minecraft is an amazing game (if unassuming in it's inital simplicity) if you give it a chance. if you want "goals" as in normal video game terms, there is "boss monsters" in their own dimensions that you'd have to get enchant weapons/armor before you can kill them (via mob grinding) also there is potion brewing, and a shit-ton of fan made mods (with magic spells, and technological super worlds were you can create nuclear reactor plants or tame mythical beasts to fight for you)
See, I had no idea that there was that kind of stuff in the game. I suppose my friend either left that stuff out in her explanation or perhaps she just likes to play on the ācreator mode.ā She told me she doesnāt like playing on āsurvival modeā because she has to search for ingredients in order to create building supplies.
Now if I were to play the game, Iād definitely play the actual game instead of just creating the world itself like she does. Thanks for letting me know about all of the other things though. It sounds a lot more interesting now that I know thereās an actual purpose! lol. Iāll give it try when I get the chance. :) Thanks again!
what made you uncomfortable about minecraft? though i can see how it may seem pointless to some
Well for one Iām more of an old school video game person. Usually the only time I play video games is when Iām playing my Nintendo 64 (which is almost 20 years old I think?) so when I see any games for the 360, play station, or some other device I usually have no fucking clue whatās going on haha. Like COD for exampleā¦ my friend tried to teach me how to play that on her 360 and idk why but I just have no interest in those kind of games.
As for Minecraft, not only does it look like an old school video game but it also has very relaxing music and seems pretty laid back considering all you really got to do is build stuff (unless youre on survivor mode).
I still havent answered your question though. I guess I find it uncomfortable because of the surprisingly calm music, the simple design of the game, and lack of a goal (which for most Nintendo 64 games, it is the exact opposite of Minecraft).
