Vintage Travel Poster Fiera Di Parigi Pierre Commarmond 1931
Fiera di Parigi — Pierre Commarmond, 1931 A companion piece to Commarmond's celebrated 1926 Foire de Paris poster, this 1931 edition shows the artist's continued evolution — by now working in a style that blends the rigour of Art Deco with a slightly warmer, more approachable visual language that reflected the mood of the early 1930s. Pierre Commarmond (1897–1982) was one of France's most distinguished poster artists of the interwar period, working extensively for the PLM railway, SNCF, and major national exhibitions. His Foire de Paris series across the 1920s and 1930s represents some of the most collectible French exhibition poster art of the era. By 1931, the Foire de Paris had grown into one of Europe's premier consumer and trade exhibitions, drawing visitors from across the continent. Commarmond's poster — with its characteristic economy of line and bold typography — captures the energy and ambition of an event that embodied France's interwar confidence. Digitally restored by an artist — surface wear removed, colours refreshed, vintage character retained. Copyright: Personal use only — no resale or redistribution. Download includes 5 high-resolution JPEG files: 4×5 (up to 40×50cm) · 3×4 (up to 18×24″) · 2×3 (up to 24×36″) · International (A5–A1, 50×70cm) · 11×14″ Your personal download link expires after 14 days and is limited to 3 uses — so your files stay safe and exclusively yours.
