Apple orchard, Trinity Jersey used to be an island of orchards, most of which have sadly been lost over time. Recently though I’ve noticed more and more being planted, some definitely courtesy of @thecidermakerswife at La Robelline Cider. I think some have been planted by Jersey Heritage who have a project to preserve some of the original Jersey species of cider apples. Jersey cider is delicious, I am especially fond of Branchage by @lamareestate and have it as a treat every now and then. One of the best events of the year in Jersey is La Faîs’sie d’Cidre (cider festival) which I understand is happening this year again 🤞🤞 At the moment the apple trees are all coming into blossom and they look so pretty. . . . . . #jerseychannelislands #jerseyci #jersey #appleorchard #apples #appletrees #springtime #may #earlysummer #countrysideviews #trinity #parishoftrinity #pot #blueskies #lovewhereyoulive #cider #localcider #visitjersey #visitjerseyci #randomfacts (at Trinity, Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/COYF9PVLJlS/?igshid=1rwrdo1bgonx9
