My hands move too much My eyes focus on nothing Saint Vitus' dance

Skin so pale I could float through a crowd Voice so low I could scare a mouse The windows seemed inviting But now they fill my cave with painful lighting Off the grid Forever alone Solitude is peace Peace in my home The neighbors knock Make sure I’m okay I hide in my room Until they go away Artificial light is all I know The sun would burn me to my bones I forgot what the rest of the world looks like House on a hill Blending with the night Wasting away Don’t recognize my face I step outside to dig my grave A final place to lay my head Quiet and alone Peace in death
