Layla hadn't realized immediately what a bad idea it was for her to be out alone. Renting a cabin with some friends had sounded like a fun weekend getaway, and it had been, up until a snow storm knocked out their power. She'd gone out alone to restart the generator, and that had been fine. She was bundled up against the cold, she'd managed to get it going, and everything would be okay. That was more than an hour ago, although it was difficult to tell how much time had passed in the swirling snow.
She must have gotten turned around because the cabin was nowhere in sight, but by the time she realized it and turned around, she'd lost all sense of where she was. The snow was deep, and walking had become difficult even with her boots. She'd tried calling out, but the wind snatched her voice and hurled it away. Now that night had fallen, she could barely see a foot in front of her face. "Hello? Someone, please help!" she called out. Her shivers were starting to subside, and distantly she knew that was a bad sign.
At first, she thought she was imagining the tall, dark-haired woman who appeared out of the snow. Even when her arm wrapped around her to steady her, she wasn't convinced it was real. Perhaps she'd already lain down in the snow and fallen asleep, and this was just her mind's way of trying to comfort her as she froze. That was horrifying enough to send a jolt of adrenaline through her. "Are you-- Who are you?"
"Zack, come to my place. I've got a surprise for you." Jodie purred into her mobile device. She shuddered when her long legs parted and her fingers teased her exposed womanhood. "The maids won't be here for another few hours. I-I want us to have fun together until then." If he was busy, she'd have no choice but to get off to the sound of his voice. "I need you, baby. Zack just got home from a local grocer as he brought food to the fridge and went to the bathroom to restock items for his personal hygiene. He planned to go on a jog in Central Park but his plans changed when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Answering the call though, he gulped as he heard the woman in the other line wanting to see him. "Yeah I'll be there, Jodie."
Looks like he'll have a different type of exercise today as he went to take the cab to get to Jodie's mansion. The butlers know him as they opened the gate and door for him. One of then even told him as to where Jodie is likely with him no longer needing to ask for directions. He took out his phone and went to text her.

yeah definitely, could be! Riley's not necessarily anti-vampire so much as she's neutral to em. Like whatever we're both predators and as long as you don't kill me you can have some spooky libidophage blood. I think conflict would probably come from Riley being necessarily anti-relationship, opposed to how Jodie's looking to settle down with someone.
