We usually think of fine rums from certain regions. Now you get Parce Rum from Columbia. They have 8 year aged rum with notes of cherry, candied fruit, tobacco, cocoa powder and oak. Also, they have 12 year aged blend of rum aged in American oak casks. This is a more subtle and a little darker. This has notes of mocha, toasted nuts and tobacco. The Beverage Testing Institute gave it 92 points. They add small amounts of caramel and sugar from sugar cane. They are in a few liquor stores in New York and more in New Jersey. I got to do some really fun illustration work for Parce awhile back, about the process of making cane rum in Colombia, and I'm so excited to try the contents of this beautiful vessel! I made a little scene for my new bae bottle of palm trees and good vibes.
