Semi-Empty Classroom || Essie and Sebastian
Essie had an hour break between her Choreography course and English, most of which she spent wandering the campus, listening to music. It was her first day of classes at Walt, which felt strange to her, since she'd been living here for so long. She'd made friends, and made enemies, and she felt like she almost belonged. Only almost though, since it seemed that nobody could really be trusted. She switched the music on her iPod to something happier, trying desperately not to think of Sebastian. He wasn't worth her thoughts. He'd lied to her, and broken her trust... even if he had saved her. She shook her head, and walked through the doors of a random building, deciding it was much too cold to stay outside.
Without the noise of the bustling New York streets, Essie found her music much too loud, and turned it down. When she did, however, she heard something unsettling. Something that sounded like a scream. She took her earbuds out and looked around, seeing students and teachers rushing around, their eyes wide and scared, and Essie's heart began to pound. She grabbed someone's arm as they ran past. "What happened?" she asked. "Gun..." was all the person could say. Essie gasped and let the person go, ducking into an empty classroom and locking the door behind her. When she turned around, she saw the guy she least wanted to see, sleeping on a desk. "Of course..." she muttered, sitting down a few rows behind him.
