Jellicle January day 17 production Friday (Saturday)
Production Fridayās always scare me, Iām a new gen and bearly know other productions
But I drew exotica from the paramount theater prod because uhhhh I love exotica
Souvenir from the Paramount show. I've had nicer toffee, but that's a secondary concern when you're buying for the silliness. š
Idk if Iām the only one, but I want the title cards that they showed at the beginning of the show so badly š the pictures were really cool, had all the characterās epithets (like Sillabub and either Etcetera or Exotica were on the same card and they were titled The Dueling Ballerinas), and the characters all had their circus costumes on over their regular unitards.
Iāve been looking all over but canāt find any screenshots or videosš«
Iām also dying to see pics of the queens in their tutuās. Either Exotica or Etcetera had a massive brown one and it was so pretty, but she only wore it at the very beginning. Iām pretty sure Sillabub did too since she was also a ballerina
i never thought id be desperately wanting to travel to see a production of Cats, let alone TWO different productions of Cats, but Paramount Aurora's circus cats and Casa MaƱana's country cats are both calling to me
both productions look so cool and creative and like such a fun time. these two shows are EXACTLY what we should be doing w funky shows like Cats: choosing a theme and going All In, with campy costumes and acrobatics or full country accents
