as we’ve said many (many) times, us admins couldn’t be happier with how things have been here in our little group and we love each and everyone one of you.

now, as a reminder! today’s the last day for any new valentine’s starters. threads can of course continue on (and new date threads too!), but after today regular open starters can start being made again and slowly over the week things will go back to normal on the island (aka it won’t look like a pink explosion everywhere).

good morning everyone! we are super excited to announce that MERFOLK are now officially open for application!

please note! there are now NPC merfolk on the island as well but no one knows who (or what) they are. to the citizens of the island (even the council and the King himself) new people are nothing new, but these people are all....strange. 

ALSO! characters will start noticing new decorations going up all over the island to start celebrating the one year anniversary of Paradisus being successfully open! so expect lots of silver and gold and excitement in the air.

it’s so nice to have a support system like this behind me--and to also know that both us admins can not be online for a couple days and that you guys have taken initiative with our valentine’s event. we couldn’t ask for a better online family and we’d always love for more people to join us here!

                            task 001 -- M O O D B O A R D S

here’s our first task! we want you guys to come up with a moodboard for your characters. it can be done with gifs, aesthetic photos, or even a color scheme, all up to you! we just want to get the general ~ * ~ vibe ~ * ~ for each of your wonderful characters.

this absolutely isn’t mandatory! and there’s no set due date. we want you guys to have fun with it-- especially since we already have a few other task ideas up our sleeves.

aww well thank you! when we opened our group we both immediately decided that the best route for us to go would be to be lax with activity, and seeing as how we've officially been open for four months now (!!) clearly it was the right choice.

rp'ing is supposed to be fun, not a job or a chore and we didn't want our players facing burnout like we ourselves have felt in the past. we understand real life always comes first and don't want our players feeling like they need to be on every single day.

oh I love all three of them! Any would make a fabulous witch. With Jenna and Emma we would say just to try and use more recent gifs (as some of Doctor Who was a decade ago, and nothing from HP)
