 From where in canon was your character taken?
After his death. It happened pre-canon.
 What does your characters fake life look like?
Casey Hartley was born and raised in Cottage Grove, Oregon, to Mr and Mrs Hartley. He’d never liked the small town life, and sought to escape to somewhere else. Driven especially by his love of drums, Casey desired nothing more than to join a band in the big city and get famous. He really seemed to never be able to escape, though, settling into a job at a gold course instead. He’d been miserable, yearning for more, until a letter from some place called Paradise Island had arrived just for him. While it seemed sketchy, Casey figured that he had nothing to lose, and went along with it.
Now he’s starting to get weird dreams, often featuring animal people, smiling and talking to him, calling him by name, making him feel warm and happy… But sometimes, they feature black cloaks, neverending falling, eternal darkness. Screaming out names that he can never remember when he’s waking up. Cold sweats usually follow the latter, making for an unpleasant morning of washing his sheets again.

Norah grew up in Evanston, Illinois.Â
She had a bit of a “dark eyeliner, Edgar Allan Poe fan, piercing” phase, she’s always been shy but that’s not to say she didn’t have any friends.Â
Clearly not, because she’s about to be a Maid of Honour.Â
She’s always wanted to be a writer, that was her dream. She used to spend all of her free time writing as a teenager. She wanted to be a novelist.Â
Her dreams felt like they were about to come true when she got accepted into a University in England to study Literature and Language.Â
But there was something else she had to do first.Â
Norah had always been in love with her childhood friend, and she knew that she’d have to tell him before she left. So, she did.Â
It didn’t go well. He didn’t return her feelings, and it broke her heart.Â
She left for England the following week and they haven’t spoken properly since.Â
Norah finished University the top of her class and published her first book less than a year after graduation.Â
She’s been living in London for the last four years, working on her third novel.Â
