Find the word
Thanks for the tag @shellyscribbles :)
The challenge I believe is to find out which words are in your draft/any draft you have. You do not have to participate if you don't want to :]
I will tag: @my-cursed-prince @basilboy2187 @bardic-tales @captiancookie @drmilktea @maximumfuturisticfun (idk i don't have many mutual writers on Tumblr xd)
Your words are:
bleed, figure, possession, reality, express
I will be using my current draft *the story of cat Vegas*(very working title).
My words were: Frank, odor, light, board, grey
Frank: Not in my draft
Odor: surprised to find this one in my draft
At first he was afraid that if he saw his limbs or torso, that he would feel frightened or ashamed of himself, but the longer he showered, the more he inspected the crevices that accompanied his body. When he bent his elbows straight, his joints would align and the interconnection would not be seen from the outside, although on the inside it was still very clear that it was there. But it made him feel more relaxed, that he could disguise his mishavings to some degree. He cleaned himself with a darkly colored soap: it harbored a dusky scent that reminded him of Jerry Cat resting beside him after a long day. Truthfully, he didn’t quite need to shower, since he did not produce sweat, odor, or oils that clung to his skin, but it made for relaxation after stress, and it provided him with an excuse to confront his situation.
Bit of a word dump but hopefully will edit it out in the next draft xD. For context this is Serious Baby regarding his dollbounded status/body.
Light:
True to Wert’s word, there was a shabby building built in the wall. It was dingy, but lit up, although the windows were covered, allowing only a little bit of yellow light to sleep out. The pipes above dripped puddles on the stone path. Jerry Cat entered the double doors of the shop.
Oh. Ohhh… Jerry Cat paused. Now he understood what Wert meant.
Jerry cat finds a shop in the city
Board: also surprised to find this one
In the shop there were two birdies; one stood himself behind the counter, and the other, a younger one, was more preoccupied with taking out one of the breads from the oven. As Wert walked inside, the younger looked up from their task to greet them, almost dropping the board in struggle.
“Hi! Welcome to, um- Robin’s and Robin’s Bakery! Would you like to taste anything?” She smiled sheepishly, beholding the bread in invitation.
Grey/Gray
Jerry Cat continued rummaging around, peeking through the drawers of the chest and under the bed, checking through the cracks of the stone and of the bark of the tree. He went upstairs and left Serious Baby behind to search in the fridges and food banks for food. There was none.
“We shall have to go and get some, then,” Serious Baby said once Jerry Cat told him of it.
They walked down the paven gray road.
Yippee
