Today was the day that Jae had been waiting for for the last couple weeks. After finding out that someone had attempted to infiltrate not only her business, but her entire life. She had stumbled upon it initially when she was going through and checking on the activities that each and everyone of the clan members participated in. When she first saw it, she thought it was a mistake and after checking and rechecking, she found that it was, in fact, not just a figment of her imagination and that someone had planted a bug to track any activites that anyone in the clan participated in; especially her. Thinking back on it, it made sense how the guys who attacked her knew when exactly was the right time to attack her. And it infuriated her. How dare someone try to fuck with not only her but what was hers. So she did the one thing that she could do, she reverted back to her old ways and bcam with her technology once again.
She rarely ever used him, considering him a creation far more than human comprehension, but when she used him, they were a forced to be reckoned with. So when she stepped into the hidden room, after having shooed everyone away, and turned on the lights, she called for her resting AI, âJun, I need your help dearest.â
âI suppose I could offer my assistance this time.â
She grinned upwards to where she knew the cameras were and clicked her tongue before setting to work. Together, they had managed to create a program that only hid what they were doing to their current enemy, but also take just as much information from them as they had from her. A few days had passed and it had taken longer than Jae would've liked it to, but she had work and to keep up appearances, but they had managed to get it done. After she left Jun to implement the program and give her the files on the attackers, she waltzed out of the hidden room, locking it down and heading off to take a shower; throughly impressed by her work and amused by what was to come.
That had been nearly three weeks ago and by that time, she had hoards and hoards of information on the other clan. She hadn't given too many fucks about the name of the clan, as she deemed anyone who would resort to such lowly tactics unworthy of proper care and treated them as such, but more than names, she made sure that the faces of the fuckers who attacked her were implanted in her memory. They and their leader are going to understand why, she was feared and why their spineless and swine-like behaviour was going to be the last thing they ever did.
She had called the leader and arranged a meeting, disguising it as a way for both clans to join voices and become one and it didn't take long for a time and a date to be set. To say she was excited would be an understatement; there was no words for how much her blood was pumping and her mind was sadistically gleeful at the thought of destruction. By the time the day of the meeting rolled around, Jae had long dropped her facade and was strictly business (and if she was honest with herself, she'd mention how hard it was to hold back being her dark, twisted self around those who didn't know about it).
Dressed comfortably in all black: black slacks, black button up, black tie, black vest, black heels, and her hair slicked back and pulled up into a tight ponytail, she had made sure to conceal her weapons accordingly and pack an extra set of clothing. As she handed off her bag of changeable clothing to one of her subordinates, she adjusted her tie and slid into the awaiting car. Her legs crossed and a look of business replaced whatever leftover softness remained as she listened to the information she was being fed. They had spent the entire ride informing of her what, who, and why to expect.
When they pulled up to the meeting spot, a somewhat decent looking safe house type building on the outskirts of the city, she waved off the rest of the information that was being announced to her and waited for the door to open. She stepped and kept her head held high as she made her way into the building, her men and the sound of her heels following behind her. Entering the room, she bowed politely; taking the moment to analyse the situation as quickly as she could before taking her seat.
It wasn't until after a nice welcoming meal, including a rather posh dessert and a glass of fancy wine, that she finally spoke up.
âWhile I do appreciate the sentiments and the sense of welcoming you've seemingly provided me with here today, I simply cannot accept your offer for us to join forces,â she smirked above the rim of her wine glass before holding up her hand to halt any arguments. âAllow me to explain why. I do not take kindly to being attacked in any way, shape, or form. I do not take kindly to being tracked and treated as an animal or anything of lesser standards for I am greater and far more powerful than most could ever wish to be. And finally, I do not take kindly to having what's mine being fucked with. For those reasons and that little program you injected into my system, I refuse to consider you anything more than spineless little insects who need to be crushed. And crushed you shall be. Oh and by the way, Mr. Park, I do thank you for all the information you systems have given me.â
She downed the rest of her wine before setting the glass down and rising to her feet. She turned away and moved to walk out of the room, not even flinching at the gunshots that followed behind her. Leaning against the door, she glanced her watch and waited, âDid he escape?â Being met with an affirmative response, she sighed exaggeratedly before smirking widely. âWell, then I suppose we should go exploring to see whom'll be the reinforcements. Hopefully, it'll be my buddies.â
She waited until she was properly surrounded on both sides before they made their way through the building. As they got lower and lower, Jae clicked her tongue and sighed in boredom. âAnother one who thinks that lower level fighting will give them the advantage. Such a cliche.â Finally, approaching the lowest level of the building, Jae hummed softly and stepped into the room before yawning. She clicked her tongue whistled softly as she made her way to the centre of the room. The lights flickered on and she took note of how awkwardly they had been surrounded and outnumbered.
Rolling her neck and chuckling softly, she got into position and glanced around the room as her eye flickered between black and blood red before settling on blood red and she reached for one of her hidden, small daggers. Feeling familiar warm pressed against her back and sides, she smirked again and waited for the attack. Closing her eyes momentarily, she listened for the first sound and unfamiliar footsteps. When she heared some rapidly approach her, she let her smirk drop and her eyes fluttered open. âJust who I wanted.â
Time seemed to slow and speed up as she fought and by the time she had made her way out of the building, the sky had become almost black with the night and she was a little bit damaged. She glanced around and made sure that everyone she came with was still with her. She had to give it to their opponents, they had been a lot stronger than she expected and had been pretty on par with them until they actively began to try. As the night air hit her face, she sighed softly before toeing off her broken heels and beginning to undress; wanting to get out of the bloodied attire as quickly as possible.
Her wound were quickly and minimally tended to, the others allowing her to heal herself up a bit before helping her clean off any blood lingering on her. She got changed quietly and when she slid into the car, she leaned back against the seat with a slight slouch. Now that the adrenaline was fading, she was in pain and tired. Leaning her head on the shoulder of whoever was closest to her and ignoring the stench of blood, she covered mouth, yawned and closed her eyes, dosing lightly as they drove away.
She had a momentary worry of where her weapons had gone, but a gentle hand on her shoulder lulled back to her relaxed state and she knew that she had no other reason to believe that they wouldn't take steps necessary to make sure there was no trace of them left behind. When they had arrived back in the city, she couldn't dose any longer and opted to rest her head on the window, gazing out.
Her eyes were dropping when out the corner of her eye, she spotted a curled up figure before ordering the car to be stopped. Opening the door and walking over to the ball of whatever it was, Jae tilted her head and worried her lower lip as she neared. Hearing soft whimpering, she continued to approach before kneeling beside the curlng figure. She reached out, touched his forehead briefly, and took note of the note coating her hand when she drew back. She gazed over the battered figure and when her eyes finally landed on the facial structure, her eyes widened in shock and anger before she breathed deeply to calm herself.
Using her last bit of strength, she placed an arm around his shoulders and one under his knees before scooping him up, glancing around, and quietly heading back to the car. As she placed him into awaiting arms, she slid into the car and motioned for him a first aid kit and him to be laid on his back with his head in her lap. Noting the raised eyebrows, she sighed softly.
