Lane was in for an earful when he returns, being Fili had warned him that he was in no condition to be out hunting just yet. When the door finally sounded, Fili barely took the time to look out to see who it was before he threw the door open. "You! What did I say abo- " Fili paused at the sight of the pink, princess printed bundle in Lane's arm. He stepped aside, letting the other man in as he continued to stare cautiously. "A baby? You went out hunting and brought home a baby?" Fili tried his best to keep a stern face as he looked from Lane to the tiny child in his arms, but the infant's little gurgling sound and her chubby cheeks melted the ice in Fili's stare.
