It broke my heart when Nick and Jess broke up too.

It’s worth it.  I actually think getting behind on season 4 (and only just getting caught up to season 5 in the last week or so) helped me with Nick and Jess being broken up: time took some of the sting of the breakup away and let me focus on what I loved about the rest of the show - the characters, the ensemble, WINNIE THE BISH, the humor, the loft dynamics, the everything else of the show.

They’re also laying down various hints that they’ll get back to Nick and Jess at some point in the future; I’m not sure if it’ll be the same for me, and I’m only tentatively interested in them getting back together at some point right now.  The breakup just felt so… final.  I wasn’t expecting it to affect me as strongly as it did.  I shipped the two of them so very very very much, sort of crazily, and to have all the legitimate, very valid, very real reasons that Nick and Jess might not work well together and won’t last laid out was pretty devastating to how I feel about Nick and Jess.

BUT.  The show has really dealt with it pretty well in general, and I love so much of the what the rest of New Girl is that, yes, yes, my answer is yes.  But I understand where you’re coming from, and I would understand if you couldn’t do it.

Well, and where are the complainers when *Oliver* has focused on JUST saving Thea, or just saving Felicity? Why does that not go both ways? Ugh. They’re just looking for things to complain about re: Felicity.

They’re so transparent. Honestly I really do wonder if they really know what it would be like to be in Felicity’s position. They’d probably make some stupid ass decision. Instead, Felicity came up with the idea of how to save the city AND how to save Oliver at the same time and they still complain. They’d probably complain if Felicity didn’t save Oliver either... Probably say “oh she doesn’t love him enough to save him” or whatever. *rolls eyes*
