Good morning pumpkins!! The other day I found these gems by @jacqueline_woodson in my collection & I figured Iโd give them a read since they were only about 100 pages each. โข โข I didnโt know I could fall in love with characters within 20 pages but she obviously proved WE CAN! I think this was my first Romeo & Juliet retelling & it definitely did not disappoint. (BTW, the flop was REAL in these!!! Iykyk) โข โข I loved the fact that the story related perfectly to everything weโre going through right now in our world & how eloquently it developed. It wasnโt some regular sappy love story. Itโs a story about love, overcoming, hope, loss, grief, acceptance.
