so there it went...
with the start of classes today, my world suddenly shifted back into an awkwardly familiar balance, that is vs. the oddities and flexible nature of summer scheduling. i checked and updated my tumblr for the first time in (what seems like) weeks (it was probably less than weeks, let's be honest).
there is so much work to be done...the excitement of 2 jobs and a new puppy has kept me so preoccupied with trivial everyday things that i have had close to no time for composition. i didn't realize until looking back through this blog...but seriously...i mean...how fast can 3 months possibly go?
needless to say, aside from working on saturday, i will be MIA pretty much the whole weekend...writing. that's not a huge deal, seeing as my super senior status implies that all former friends and colleagues of my formerly expected graduation date are no longer around for me to blame my flimsy work ethic on.
oh btw i work at papa jazz now...eat your hearts out hipstertastics: there's room for one classically trained experimental composer in columbia's finest record store. well... there was room...that void has been filled.
