#panicle hydrangeas

Heritage Museums & Gardens: White & Pink Panicle Hydrangeas

*goes on a beach trip, comes back with mostly pictures of flowers*

I don’t normally like hydrangeas that much. But these cone-shaped “panicle” ones are less...what’s the word. Fussy? Stuffy? Showy? Than the round “smooth” ones. Which I don’t fully hate! I just also like them better when the color variation isn’t completely washed out and sickly. It seems like you need to know what you’re doing with them and I get the impression most people don’t.

(I could be wrong though. They could just not be my taste.)

Anyway. This garden knows its hydrangeas, and I liked all the different varieties.
