every now and then i see this panel again and it makes me wonder how many times they've done shit like that

this is funny but also so sad to think about what goes on in yana's mind on an almost consistent basis. the fact that she has pretty strong psionic shields on her own, but anybody that DOES get into her head somehow is most likely met with the darkchilde. who is always plaguing yana. coaxing her, begging for her to let go and let her be free, to embrace 'who she's meant to be.' how much of her mental capacity goes towards keeping her at bay and trying not to let herself be consumed.... be it by the darkchilde or just all the shit that goes on up there that gives her very little respite from The Horrors.
