Whispering Grass dolls are in Kyiv History Museum! Exhibition is dedicated to creative heritage of the famous Ukrainian Artist and Fashion Designer Lyubov Panchenko (1938-2022). Panchenko worked at the Design and Engineering Technological Institute as a fashion designer and at the Republican House of Models. She created a lot of fashion illustrations, combining modern fashion silhouettes of that time (1960s) with Ukrainian ethnic motives. I was honored to do two her designs and to show them on my dolls. I had carte blanche on fabrics, cuts, etc. Hope I did these designs justice.
