9 sweep old rustblood. She's deaf, but she can hear ghosts. She stares off into space a lot and is often lost in thought. Enjoys watching the effects of magic, although she's too afraid of accidentally hurting herself to practice it.

panaka has that kind of build and clothing style where he looks tiny and starving with his clothes on and taller than he is with his clothes on off i meant off apparently my brain prevents me from picturing poor innocent pancakes naked.

4. nail-biting. kid makes himself bleed on a nigh-daily basis.
7. one friendship attempt was sort of going well until the other troll's lusus died. panaka made them a folding screen out of its bones and skin as an unasked-for remembrance gift, because that's clearly a great way to handle your buddy's parent-figure dying and not creepy or disrespectful or over the line at all.
yeah, that friendship didn't last long.
8. the creepy animal bones and skin gift thing. he does that. a lot. out of a genuine desire to give people he likes cool, handmade gifts.
9. dude does not take care of his hands or feet. as mentioned above, he's a nail-biter. also he has a major aversion to shoes/socks, so his feet are usually a)dirty and b)sliced/bruised because he frickin loves the wilderness. (oh and also his hair. he cuts it himself and it's...bad. really bad.) he's also got a bad ankle from an old break that didn't heal well. he doesn't limp, but if he runs around for a while or he's on his feet too long, it really starts to give him grief.
12. his stutter. he has no patience with himself and he gets REALLY angry with himself over it (which just make sit worse). most times, he'll just stop talking, but he's also been known to scream in frustration (because at least that doesn't require enunciation) or even pull out his hair.
20. loneliness. obviously a lot of that comes from social anxiety (which clearly isn't his fault, because it developed from being poorly socialized and a natural inclination toward anxiety). but he doesn't make any attempts to actually get his anxiety under control or look into coping mechanisms, even though he's seen mentions of stuff like that on the internet. he's too caught up in berating himself to ever try helping himself.
