Did the #palipuka hike with the husband and decided to take a short cut that turned out to be a wrong turn and we ended up scaling the side of the very slick mountain using old rope and I ended up in tears because we had to go back down the exact same way and we almost died. I am so glad we're still alive. Seriously the most terrifying thing I've ever done in my life. Will not be repeating this adventure. Slide through to see some of the adventure, even though they DO NOT give it justice, there's one where I'm making a scared face, pointing at the mountain we climbed and was taken after I finally felt like I wasn't going to burst into tears at any moment. We were climbing a straight, vertical rock face for fifty yards and my legs are STILL shaking.
