When I walked into one of the houses, I saw a pale corpse.
Well, technically, he was still alive. Though, he appeared to be at deaths door, so I tried inquiring about him. When I asked Kardin Nillic about it though, he told me in a hushed voice for me to be quiet.
“My friend is very ill, “ He said, “and loud noises seem to cause him even more pain. I fear he will die soon. Please allow his final moments to pass in relative peace.”
I had hoped that perhaps Kardin would have told me of a way to help his friend, but alas, it seemed there was nothing I could do.
