LOSAS (Light land) is going to require a fuckton of ‘canon flexible’ content in order to get its primary gimmick (a Bard of Light obscuring through knowledge) to work.

I’d also recommend reaching out to yearnfulNode on the discord for more details, and brainstorming (he has a lot of ideas that are just waiting for your spin on things).   

Seriously, anything from an attempt to guess the actual farragnarok plot to weird AUs are welcome. Light land will have an entire system for AUs.  You wanna throw characters into a magical boarding school? Regular highschool?  A cooking tournament arc? Whatever, just feed me....  If your idea is cool enough it might effect the bundled scenarios with LOSAS. Likely there will be a contest later which can retroactively have anything submitted to that google drive as entrants.

In preparation for a contest involving making paldemic files,  I turned comments on for PlagueDoctors. There’s already so many great files in it, I want people to be able to give the creators the feedback they crave, you know?

So like, I’ve been meaning to dust off my old server code skillz.  It’s on a different domain cuz  I didn’t want to run a full on database on Farrago (i do NOT pay my hosting company enough for that kind of cpu usage, just running the doll uploader we’re at 50% cpu usage at times). 

BASICALLY, what Plague Doctors is for is for letting y’all upload your Paldemic Files to a database without having to involve me at all. It even automatically generates a link to it in PaldemicSim so you can have people view it without all that lame file downloading and uploading the previous process had.

As a reminder, Paldemic is meant to be a way for people to host Pesterchum like chats between characters with a Discord kinda look and feel. I mostly created it for things like LOHAE to use but its been fun seeing all the crazy stuff you all are doing with it :) :) :)

Since I want people to create Paldemic files without me, I also heavily polished the builder page and sort of worked a tutorial into it.

The rest of this post after the break’ll be an example of a Paldemic File being created and uploaded to Plague Doctors, along with the link to view it.

Definitely not a sneak peak of a bullshit proof of concept I’m making? Said proof of concept definitely not leveling me up in preparation for the minor update post BigBad update? 

PaldemicSim is basically like, I realized I wanted to sprinkle plot around a thing I’m doing, and multiple people had asked me to make more customizable pesterlog kinda things for fan sessions and etc.

So Paldemic is a fake Discord/Pesterlog client  (pal + pandemic) and PaldemicSim is a simulation of the fake client that doesn’t even exist, where you can create a ‘chat’ and then it plays out in ‘real time’ (completely with indicators of people typing).  You can customize the icons people use, and the color role they have, and make multiple chats in a single file (like a list of dms in Discord). 

Once you’ve made a file you can share it with your friends directly, or upload it over on PlagueDoctors (still being worked on), or view other people’s chats and vote on them.
