Excellent short film that uses Polari, the slang used by gay British men in the 20th century, to tell its story. Even with subtitles on, there's little context beyond facial expressions and what English is used, but it's quite well done.

this post is meant to be a directory of every resource I come across for Polari, a British cant used by various subcultures such as circus performers, sailors, and particularly, gay men in the era of criminalization of homosexuality. since the 1960s, it has declined in use, but people are once again beginning to show interest in the language. this post will be a continuous work in progress so thank you for your patience! if you have any issues or things to add, please reply to this post!
