A lot of people see her as snobby rich kid and basically a bitch, when she’s really not. Grant it she has her moments where she acts like a child, but it was because she was shelter so long and everyone let’s her get away with it. Her father is to blame for this attitude for hers. He allowed her to get away with things for so many years, so of course she’s going to think it’s okay to do this! She doesn’t know any better!

Neon is so much more than what people think she is! She’s adorable, nice, and actually really caring, even Eliza agree’s! Neon wants to help people. So many people over looked this line and it bothers the crap out of me. When she was just a small child, she had the will power and desire to become a nen genius and actually help this people! Where the problem comes in here, is her father pushed his selfish wishes on her and forced her to be apart of the mafia. If she wasn’t a 100% positive that she would be giving these fortunes away for free. In fact, she hates telling fortunes to the mafia people! She wants the fortunes to come from the heart and make peoples lives better! Not so they could know winning numbers or how they can beat their enemies. That’s why she was so open to tell Chrollo his fortunes.

As for her collection with body parts, cause I know people are going to come back and slam her on that. It is not for malicious intent. She wouldn’t just go up to a random person and say, give me your arm or just cut it off of them. And as for the Kurapika situation, no, she will not rip out his eyes, rather she would fawn over them all call him the coolest person she’s ever seen. While it’s not specifically stated why she collects them, I strongly believe it has something to do with her fortunes. While she may not be able to use her power on dead things, nor does she believe that there is an afterlife, I think she’s curious about their life and their story before they died. More than likely, it’s ‘if I told them their fortune before they died, would it have made their life better?’ Because, once again, Neon wants to help people. 

Then finally, what happen with Chrollo and her running away from her guards. One, Chrollo could trick any person he wants, falling for his trick does not make her an idiot. Once again everyone is over looking something. Neon manged to escape four guards AND one of those guards has the ability to hear heart beats. So, they entire time she was planning this, discreetly buying items to change into and actually changing in the bathroom and then running away from her guards, she had to keep her heart beat pretty damn calm. Otherwise Melody sure as hell would get suspicious or question her. ALSO, taking a step back words, she whipped together a plan to run away, grant it, it was simple plan, but it still worked.
