My labmates and I took a whirlwind trip to Yellowstone National Park! It was more driving than I think all of us wanted, but it was so worth it, and we got a chance to see some incredible sights. We saw bison and elk too, but I didn't get any good shots, unfortunately...I was too busy gawking.

Next day was Yellowstone. It is really damn big 3500 miles! It’s amazing country and the animals are everywhere and cool to see. don’t mess with the animals. You are at their house so be respectful. They are real animals and don’t want to be in a selfie with you. Pictures: The sizzling water is called Frying Pan springs and well the reason why is pretty apparent. The white bubbles are called paint pots. The acid decomposes the rocks and produces clay and it’s super hot so it bubbles. Grand Prismatic Springs and Excelsior Geyser were the highlights for me.
