Heeeyyy followers who still stick around despite my dismal lack of activity lately (which, by the way, I have endless gratitude for). I just sort of wanted to give an update on whats what and stuff.
Don’t expect art for the next three weeks. Its a bit funny because I’ve definitely gone longer than that without planning, but whatever. I’m hurtling headlong into two weeks of hell in which I have three projects/presentations due, four exams (three of which are finals) and a ten page research paper (which I have chosen to write on pornography and the male gaze in cinematography). AKA I’m gonna be run over with the equivalent of a mental and emotional truck.
Don’t get me wrong, college is probably one of the best things to happen to me, but I’m almost 1000 miles from home and I miss my family and my dogs and my bunnies. I’m stressed as all hell and physically and mentally exhausted. College has challenged me to work to--and expand--my limits and produce some of my best work, but damn am I tired.
I’m ready to go home.
