Which one of you are going to tell Davina/Gemma/Can’t Write that limpid really does not mean what she thinks it means? I’m too busy cackling at the entire mess of a meme play.

“In my opinion, you need a lot more nerve than that.” She took a breath, looking over the blueprints once more, scanning over the orders emailed to them both from Garrett. Then she looked up at him, shook her head ever-so-slightly, green eyes limpid and swimming with worry and a silent, unspoken plea. “This mission? I wouldn’t take it, sir. Tell him no. Refuse it, postpone it. You’re in no position to make this move. Your wounds– I can do it, if you’ll let me. Just…don’t. —–Ple–” she stopped herself. Looked down at the plans again, jaw clenched and lips clamped tightly shut.

I wish Davina would “stop herself” instead of writing that Ruby “stopped herself.”

“There are worse things I could do than choose my own fate, Ward,” she shot back lightly. “As for choosing others’ fates, well, that’s just a good day’s work, isn’t it?”

Where are you stealing from, Davina? It’s not making sense to you. Maybe you should downgrade to something at your comprehension level.

It’s nice to know you listen to us, Davina. It’s just a shame you can’t bring yourself to talk to us and the people you’ve stolen from. Maybe if we tell you to grow up you’ll listen to that too.

In all likelihood they wouldn’t have one. At some point it would just be acknowledged that they were staying together. Maybe that would include Erik making rings for them just for show, but an actual wedding would never happen. They both have far too many other things to think about and no real inclination to go through a pointless ceremony to affirm what they already know which is that they love each other.

P.S. Witches, demons and Jews all delight in ceremonies. It’s part and parcel for each of those groups, kid. Do some research so you’ll stop writing clichéd and out of character tripe. You missed a chance at angst, but we know you can only force that when it’s unnecessary.

On the one hand they were both a bit battered, but on the other they were both still breathing so the night hadn’t been a total failure. At least from a certain perspective. There had been a point somewhere after the grenade but before the fire started in the living room in which Erik would have sworn on his life that the only way the night could end well was with Ruby dead. She had no doubt shared the sentiment once she learned that Erik had thrown half her shoe collection into the fire.

We know you enjoyed 50 Shades of Grey, Davina, this is no different. This glorifies abuse. Neither of them deal with the consequences of their actions. They carry on as if nothing’s happened and it’s fine to act that way towards someone you supposedly love. It’s extremely poor, OOC writing that’s as one-dimensional as your characters.
