âYou sort of start thinking anythingâs possible if youâve got enough nerve.â
Which one of you are going to tell Davina/Gemma/Canât Write that limpid really does not mean what she thinks it means? Iâm too busy cackling at the entire mess of a meme play.
While weâre questioning Davina/Gemma/WhateverNameSheâsMadeUpNow, we should also ask who this is stolen from. The writing is still terrible, but the style has changed so much compared to her last replies. Almost as if someone else wrote it and then Davina took it and added her trademark sentence fragments.

âIn my opinion, you need a lot more nerve than that.â She took a breath, looking over the blueprints once more, scanning over the orders emailed to them both from Garrett. Then she looked up at him, shook her head ever-so-slightly, green eyes limpid and swimming with worry and a silent, unspoken plea. âThis mission? I wouldnât take it, sir. Tell him no. Refuse it, postpone it. Youâre in no position to make this move. Your woundsâ I can do it, if youâll let me. JustâŚdonât. ââPleââ she stopped herself. Looked down at the plans again, jaw clenched and lips clamped tightly shut.
How the ⌠were her unworried eyes âswimming with worryâ? Silent and unspoken mean the same thing. Then she has Ruby speak the âunspokenâ plea. âTell him noâ and ârefuse itâ mean the same thing. âClampedâ and âtightly shutâ mean the same thing. Davinaâs meme response is poor English and writing.
Whatâs worse is itâs undoubtedly stolen from someone who wasnât writing about missions. Itâs definitely ship writing. Can any of you tell me why sheâs obsessed with people being wounded? This is like her nightmare kink all over again except with injuries.
I wish Davina would âstop herselfâ instead of writing that Ruby âstopped herself.â
