the jokey part is that i can imagine suitcase comforting paintbrush about the fire thing by saying smth like "i was burned alive once and it didn't kill me! your anger is less destructive than you think :)" which is like. very sweet but also kind of concerning at the same time to pb

paintcase is awesome because both characters were hiding important parts of themselves out of fear of not being understood and i think they can bond over that (suitcase was quiet about her hallucinations and paintbrush was quiet about their gender identity)
