📖 Donkey Yoga: THE BOOKEND 📖

Harvey of the plinth.

Chocolate Donkey Harvey has adopted a new behaviour of consciously choosing to stand in a particular pose on an old, redundant raised drain cover.

Front hooves on high, posterior lower, Harvey goes to his plinth regularly and adopts the bookend position.

I imagine Harvonk considers this pose makes him appear taller, elevated, higher and more imposing to any potential threat or predator.

Personally I perceive his stance as a physical metaphor (to me at least) of VIP status… a very important Donkey! 🐴VID🐴

He’s just overseen the straw delivery to the store room behind, Hence the loose straw on the floor. I allowed both donks to inspect the trimmings and they did a marvellous job of helping me hoover it up. 🌾🐴 Lol.

I’m trying to get back into drawing more regularly like I used to years ago, I haven’t drawn in ages let alone drawn traditionally

Currently rendering and trying to figure out the background, but otherwise I actually really like the line art and the new character I sort of lined out on the spot (the piece felt empty without them otherwise). A lot of parts look real wonky and funky, but I like it as is and don’t really feel like fiddling with it LOL
