every once in awhile there'll be movies that renew my faith in Indian cinema #pagglait
Very relatable
Pagglait movie review
I just loved it. (contains spoilers) ( I’m no expert in this field. I’m sharing my own opinion about the movie.)
a different take on a widows life. the self searching part and trying to know the husband from the lover of her husband... this is unique. the family drama surrounding the demise of the only earning member of the house is really a truth. it is also sad to see the relatives of the demise person came to the house for their selfish reasons.
And Sandhya’s parents are mostly her mother was shown as a superstitious person. She cared more about the other two unmarried daughters then Sandhya. But when Sandhya got the money her attitude changed.
But her mother in law and father in law were really supportive. They didn’t force her at-least the father in law didn’t force her although he needed the money to return the loan of the house.
I loved the lover of Astik. Akansha is awesome. she shared her love story with the wife of her lover. they remembered the likes and dislikes and personality of Astik.
the most powerful scene is that when Sandhya said she has forgiven Astik and cried. She had a loveless marriage and later after her husbands death finds out he loved someone else. she didn’t felt pain after Astik’s death but when she finds out and forgives Astik she finally cried.
three persons I loved the most from the movie are
Sanya Malhotra as Sandhya,😍
Sayani Gupta as Akansha and
Ashutosh Rana as the father of Astik...
❤️️❤️️❤️️

sandhya and akansha 👀
I 100% read Sandhya in Pagglait as ace and very gay. Come on there was so much going on with the dead husband’s ex, but also her feelings about love... I feel that.
So did anyone else watch Pagglait (2021)? Thoughts??
