Padaka: 4- Do they worry about being a burden to others and if so where does this feeling come from?:

Oh definitely. They couldn't do very much to help their siblings being the youngest (and them always trying to protect her when she'd try to fight in situations she couldn't possibly have won in). He saw them nurse wounds and go without on her behalf, take humiliating and back breaking jobs for the family. For her, the baby.

Sometimes she feels like it would be so much easier if they ever seemed to resent him at all. Then there would be something to prove, a way to pay it back and speak in the sharp tongue that comes naturally. But they don't. It's the easiest thing in the world for them to love him. It's never a question and they act like there's never been a thought of debt, and it's hard to feel anything but that hungry, hollow anger seeing the mirror mocking spit back the culmination of all their struggles in him.

Lion therapist: 6- When joy comes knocking on their door do they let it in immediately or do they hesitate to let it in?:

I think most of the time he's pretty openly an optimist! There's some things he'd hesitate in, like he'd be a little hesitant to initiate a new relationship because I think he maybe lost someone after a longer term relationship, but he wouldn't refuse himself happiness he might just be hesitant.

On the whole while I wouldn't say he really dips into toxic positivity any much more than anyone might find themself doing once in a while (and he's really good about not doing it to patients), but I do think he kind of has more of the opposite problem than shutting out joy; In his personal life he'll really really try to keep an upbeat view and focusing on points of joy, but sometimes just really has to stop and let himself get mad or be upset for a bit so he can even back out.

Ch'ayna: 17- If their worldviews were to be challenged how would they react? how stubborn would they be about it?:

I think it would depend on what specifically it is that's getting challenged to be honest, but I think on the whole she'd at least be open to hearing differing cultural positions, like that's kind of a decent portion of her entire career.

Like I think she'd be moderately grounded in her own personal species cultural practices, but I think she's still had her views at least colored by all of the different people she's met or the texts and relics she's learned about cultures through.

Their siblings. She's kinda the baby of the family, so he saw them lose and sacrifice so much, a lot of times for her, some of them while they were still children themselves.

For them he'll do anything, including staying their paw or tongue despite the bitter sting of doing so </3

Apathetic willful ignorance. Like I think she would sort of at least *understand* a passionate dislike of something, like she may or may not agree or even dislike someone for it but she can at least understand that; and she wouldn't dislike someone for just not knowing something because that's perfectly normal, but someone just relishing in their ignorance as like a show of status or power would absolutely disgust her.

Lukoroh: 15- In what ways did their childhood shape their personalities as adults?:

Oooh, ok so I don't have a ton of lore for his childhood yet, but I do think he was probably a bit more actually actively inquisitive than most Pakleds (I think that especially as a child and even still now, Pakleds see Lukoroh as really hyperactive by their species standards XD)

But aside from that really on the whole I think he had kind of a weirdly beautiful time growing up; there were lots of things to see, some beautiful, some terrifying, all mysterious he knew the people he didn't know (I hc Pakleds as having a degree of empathic telepathy that really mostly only works within their own species) and sometimes met fascinating strangers he could hardly even begin to understand when other species would visit.

He always loved when new ships would be brought to the planet by the people who would find things. They would be so strange to start, but slowly come to be understood and that would always be so wonderful.

Violently

No ok but fr: They'd probably get pretty surly with the person or at least get moody quiet if they weren't in a position to really argue.

If it's something smaller it can usually really just be more of a (very) spirited debate or avoided subject, but she'll go to the mat for it with waaay less hesitation than she should.

Well almost kinda anyway. Honestly don't have all that much mapped out for them yet; I don't think they have much (if any really) experience in relationships or much "personal exploration" and as much as I don't think they would have been raised with any shame for any sexual orientation they happen to end up with in and of itself, there is probably at least some species baggage at play from what's normal biologically from either species and how it combines or does or doesn't present, especially around peers where their closest baselines are a handful of Bajorans they're not even close with.)

I think the best label for them right now would probably be questioning; They're honestly kind of having the most willingly social time they've ever had now that they're living on the Omelas, just kind of trying to discover who they are on a lot of fronts and finally making some friends.

Made! 10000% Bought stuff was definitely a real treat growing up, but to him it's never going to truly beat something hand made even if it's "better" quality.

I've answered for Aerelai before but I'm low-key still kind of proud of it so I'm going to just copy-paste XD :

Ok ngl I think they view almost any outfit as a costume of a sort XD

Betazoids are traditionally nude, only adopting clothing practices after making contact with other species (they're from a warm, semi aquatic planet and are powerful telpaths/empaths, clothing had little use to them prior as there was nothing to hide and little to possess on one's person at all times for much beyond enjoyment)

Wearing a uniform is a work costume where they fill a certain role and act a certain way, wearing a fabulous silk to an art gallery is a costume of finery where they fill a certain role and act a certain way, an apron is a costume of protection worn to cook with another culture's implements etc.

Wilvous: I could see costumes being pretty common within Tellarite culture but maybe in a slightly obscured way, with an emphasis on making the argument on how something aligns or represents something rather than a shot for full direct accuracy.

R'aahs: What food or drink does your character consider a treat?

There's the bread that I've talked about, but that's something he has authentically so very rarely that I'd have to say it's elevated above just a treat. Non-replicated meat just in general is pretty exciting for him really, and he'd always want to try and get some whenever he can when he goes planetside somewhere.

For stuff he can have on the ship just maybe less commonly, it's the berries he grew up with. They're not really safe raw for most species other than Nausicaans bc of the tiny sharp spines in them, but there's a very small allotment for a few fruiting plants in the hydroponics bay since they're safe just really fibrous cooked. That's usually how he can have them either as a fruit spread or maybe in tea or juice, but when there's a bit left over between harvests he gets to have the raw version and that's sort of nostalgic for him.

For stuff he's come to like from humans, he likes pineapples raw and whole, but he can only have them sometimes because he's pretty sensitive to the bromeliad in them (it's mostly fine because of how fast his tissues can repair, but it's still something he has to time carefully around heavier duty schedules). He also likes berry teas and dark chocolate & strawberry hot chocolate, but can only have a little because that's more sugar than he can easily digest.
