#packlog cdd

Packlog is a offline plural app made by disabled plurals for disabled plurals. This app is intended as a accessibility tool for anyone who might benefit from it. It is still in planning and currently building a pack of alpha testers. Alpha and beta tests will be closed to a small number of people.

Packlog will be inspired by many apps such as Simply plural, Octocon, Ampersand, Hivemind, Foretelling and even websites such as carrd. We want to make Packlog more than just a plural app. Our main features will be system tracking, sleep tracking, mood and symptom tracking as well as a calendar option (all also easily accessible with an in app dashboard for super fast logging). Later on we want to implement optional peer to peer sharing and syncing with pluralkit while the app still will be designed to function offline.

The main developer of this app being @deathhound06 (also running this account). We just started learning Kotlin and are developing this app with the help of our lovely mate. We are a 22 year old disabled hcDID system and have been bedbound for a long time now. So we decided to learn something new and develop and app based on disabled plurals needs. Our special interests are psychology, pedagogy, plurality, app development and more. Since we are disabled ourselves and use a screenreader accessibility is our first priority.

Due to us having very severe mecfs this project is closed and will only be opened when all base features are implemented and working.

Sleep tracking

System tracking

tracking Members with names, profile pictures, pronouns, terms, role, age, split date fields and a description

front statuses aka quick notes with fields like: trigger, a note, interaction status

group tracking for different roles, genders, ages etc.

fusion tracking for member profiles which will mentioned the fused member if archived and just show the name when deleted

Layer, sidesystem, subsystem function

these will function similar to groups meaning you can make nested layers and subsystems

sub- and sidesystems will be profiles you can set to front, mention system members and track fragments

fragment tracking will show small profile like fields in the system profile with very basic information, there will be a fast change button to add a fragment as a whole member with one click.

Mood and Symptom tracking

collective mood tracking with neutral, positive and negative plus costum ones

collective symptom tracking of Pain, Fatigue, Flashbacks, Dissociation including level (numbers or mild/moderate/severe), area (if needed), trigger, notes maybe costum ones not sure yet

Generative AI:

We are fully against gen AI. We will never use AI in our code, not to debug, no to help, not to plan and especially not to design. All our code is paw typed and all designs are paw drawn.

Identities:

Plurality:

We are fully pro all complex/contradictory queer identities. No matter if multisexuality spectrum gays/lesbians, amab transmasc/afab transfem, gaybians or anything else. We are also pro transspecies, transage and POC transrace (adopted/etc). We are fully against radqueer or xenosatanist individuals as they support harmful interaction and delusions. We are also against transabled (not BIID), transharmed/transharmful, trans programmer/trans programmed, trans DID/OSDD, trans ramcoa.

We do not belong to any community because either side has become very toxic over the years. We believe DID/OSDD to be caused by repetitive childhood trauma only, but we believe in plurality outside of the disordered spectrum. We do not agree with using the term sidesystem or system hopping outside of programmed systems. And generally believe community terms should be respected and not stolen. We are fully ok with all forms of spiritual plurality. We do not agree with polyminds as having subpersonalities and being able to destinct them is very normal that's why IFS (internal family system therapy) is open to everyone.

Fiction, shipping and paras:

We are anti harassment, anti harmful delusions and anti the concept of thought crimes. We believe that as long as you don't have harmful attachments issues fiction is separate from reality. We are pro consent and anti harmful interaction other than that we don't care what consenting adults practice or like as long as it stays consentful (animals, the dead, minors can't consent).

Stigmatized disorders:

We do not believe that any disorder makes you inherently abusive or evil (so no narc-abuse). Everyone can be covertly abusive no matter if disordered or not. We don't think that thoughts make you evil, they are just thoughts, what counts are actions. Though we also believe in the resozialisation of all criminals. We are ok with any disorders as long as you're pro recovery.
