closed starter @faiirytalcs (paz) location: outside the mystery shack
mabel had been sitting outside of the mystery shack since...she didn't even know. at one point the sun had set and she was surrounded by the dark sky with stars showing enough of the little dipper to make her cry. she couldn't stop staring, couldn't help but feel like if it burned into her eyes enough, maybe dipper would come back and scold her for staring directly into the tiny little specks. and she would do it if it meant her twin was safe and everything was fine. she would follow all of his cautions and do literally anything no matter how insane or how weird it sounded if it meant he was by her side at the end of the day.
instead those stars taunted her, like dangling a carrot in front of a rabbit. why did those stars get to shine so brightly when dipper was feeling dimmer and dimmer each day he was missing? it wasn't fair.
she had to look away before she started hurling her anger into the night sky and looking crazier than she was already. she wiped her face angrily and when she finally tore her gaze she noticed pacifica. she had no idea how long the blonde was even there. "i don't....he's still not here...." she said flatly, letting the numbness take over again. "he's....nowhere."
