Walks and Confessions|| Fritters
Who: Finn Hudson, Brittany S. Pierce When: Friday, July 3rd 2015 Where: Sun Valley Camp grounds Notes: After not being able to sleep, Finn suggests taking a walk and Brittany comes clean on what’s been bugging her. And Finn clears the air as well...For the most part anyways. Sidenote: Mixed of emotions going on.
Brittany looked around as she yawned, tired out from the long but fun day. She had given up trying to go to the gym since more people were starting to find out. Not much, but she knew how protective her friends could get and she admired it, but knew it was getting too complicated. That of course didn't mean she couldn't watch her diet. She changed into her pajamas and crawled under the covers, smiling softly at Finn as she looked at him. "You sleepy, handsome?" She asked, knowing he was worrying about her too but hopefully now he wouldn't so much. She just wanted a boost of confidence, and she was working on it. She even brought books in her bag to read through the night if she couldn't sleep.
Finn was still worrying about Brittany even though she said that she would stop going to the gym and still didn't know what was bugging her ever since last Saturday. She wasn't the one who usually not go to something where all of their friends were at. He also knew that he needed to talk to her about her joke about snuggling with someone else, where he wouldn't do that in the first place. The only girl that he would snuggle with was her, and she wasn't at the bonfire. The more he thought about Tina's text, the more it got to him and the talk with Kurt kinda helped but not as much. He spent three days cleaning his mom's garage, as his way to clear his head even more ever since his conversation with Hunter and then Sam. Where he didnt mean that Sam couldn't ask Sebastian but he meant that he wasn't the only who was looking after Brittany. He returned the soft smile and shrugged a bit as he stretched out. "Not really, what about you, beautiful?"
Brittany shook her head while hearing him and sat up with a smile. "Nah," She said and furrowed her brow. "In fact, I never get tired sooo. I dunno what you're talking about." She said while giggling lightly. "If you want we can just take a little walk. Or sleep, I dunno. It's up to you babe." She said while reaching in her backpack. She took out one of the books and set it down beside her, just in case he did end up falling asleep and she couldn't. "It's up to you on what you wanna do honey." She let him know again and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Oh really? Cause I can name some times where I carried you to the bedroom because you were falling asleep." Finn pointed out and ran a hand over his face, knowing taking a walk might be the best for them. So that way, they can talk about what has been happening and what could be next for them. "A walk might be good, since its not hot out." He kicked the covers off of him, rolled off of the air mattress and grabbed his shoes for him to slip on after slipping into his sweat pants after changing out of his pj pants. He bent down, grabbed his hoodie that he packed and slipped it on. "And, since you didn't go with me on the hike that I took last summer. It could be like, hiking but only at night with a flashlight and other protection that we need." He grabbed his phone just in case they need it, made sure that everything was covered, locked up and stifled a small yawn as he continued to pack his backpack with things that they might need. He even grabbed his iPod, saw her tucking a piece behind her ear and furrowed his eyebrows slightly as he kept his comment to himself and went back packing for them. "So, when do you want to go fishing?"
Brittany giggled lightly as she shrugged. "Well those times I was faking it." She said with a shrug. She stood up and slipped on a pair of her shoes, taking one of Finns hoodies and slipped it on herself as well. "I don't remember that baby," she said while furrowing her brow. She led them out and stretched slightly, tucking her phone in her pocket. She saw him furrow his brow and gulped, trying to guess what he was thinking as she glanced down at herself to see if anything was off or wrong. She shrugged a bit and started walking. "Whenever Hun."
Finn nodded as he heard her and looked back at her with an eyebrow raised. "Uh-huh sureeeeeeeeee you were," He replied with a smirk and went back to his things. He pocketed a lighter just in case they needed it and grabbed one of the water jugs that he uses for football. He screwed on the cap, glanced at her and furrowed his eyebrows some. "I thought I told you about it when we were in LA last year? And about the awesome view it had in the morning and all of that?" He asked, not wanting to talk about their fight last year. He slid his phone into his pocket, along with his iPod and zipped up the tent, making sure it was sealed tight. He followed her, slipped his hands into his pocket and shrugged a bit. "Im letting you pick, since you're the one who's gonna learn."
Brittany giggled softly while she stuffed her hands in the pockets. She nodded slowly, remembering when they went their separate ways for a day. She gulped and nodded a bit, looking down at her feet. "Yeah, I remember." She said quietly and hummed slightly. "Umm, I guess tomorrow is fine." She said with a small shrug.
Finn chuckled as he shook his head and let out a breath. "That's what I thought, you're not faking being asleep. Unless the next time you fall asleep before I do. Im gonna poke you to see if you smile or giggle." He teased with a smile and swallowed some as he rubbed the back of his neck, not wanting to make anything awkward but he made things awkward. He nodded slightly, when he heard her and made a note the gather all the fishing supplies before he went to bed. "Alright, we'll do that and then light off fireworks." He cleared his throat some, looked around some and flatten down his hair some. "So, how are you enjoying the camping trip?"
Brittany smiled softly as she nodded. She took a deep breath while looking up and around the place. "Sounds good honey." She said and nodded with a smile when glancing at him. "I like it so far. I mean I'm already loving it so you don't have to worry." She added while looking up at the sky.
Finn glanced over at her as she spoke, gave her a smile when he heard her and looked at the ground. "Im glad that you're already loving it." He replied as he let out a breath and rubbed the back of his neck. "So, how was hanging out with Hunter on Monday?" He glanced over at her, knowing if he wanted them to talk. He should at least let his guard down and relaxed, it was Brittany. The girl he fallen in love with during New Years and made him happy.
Brittany nodded slightly while she thought about it. "It was fun." She said while looking around again. "How was the bonfire?" She asked a little quieter. She hadn't gone and just walked the dog and headed to the park. Then of course afterwards, went to the gym. She bit her bottom lip lightly while looking ahead.
"Thats good," Finn replied softly as he looked at her and gulped some. "It was okay, I guess. Everybody had fun, some asked where you were and I told them that you decided to stay home and take Duke for a walk. And then, I kept to myself for the rest of the night until it ended." He let out a breath once more and stopped walking. "What's been going on B?"
Brittany frowned as she heard him, wondering why he kept to himself at his bonfire. "Baby you should've hung out with everyone, I was doing fine at home." She said and stopped walking as she noticed he did. "What? Nothing," She said while shrugging. "We should keep walking hun, maybe we find something cool."
Finn shook his head as he heard her. "Didn't want to hang out with everyone, my girlfriend has been upset and I didn't want to be the one who brought the mood of the bonfire down." He replied, looked at her and shook his head. "Brit, I know you. I know you when you're not okay, I know when somethings up, when something's bugging you." He replied, as he hang his head and let out a breath. "Britt, please. Tell me what's going on, why you didn't want to go to the bonfire, why did you make that joke about snuggling with someone else? Where you know that the only person I would've snuggled up to was you."
Brittany looked at him as she swallowed, her heart beating against her chest from being nervous about telling him. She didn't want to ruin the weekend or make him upset, but there was no way of escaping the situation. Not talking about it wasn't like them and she didn't want it to be. "Because I felt sad, I felt, not, good about myself. I got a message that said you were flirting with your old crush and I know it's silly but I couldn't help it because I started thinking impossible slash possible things like if you still did like someone else and how could I compete with that? So I wanted to go to the gym to see if I needed to lose weight, I brought books to read in case I couldn't sleep so I could get smarter or something like that, and I don't know. I didn't know what to do." She said, wiping a tear that fell. She wasn't one to be insecure about herself, that's why it was strange to feel like this all of a sudden. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I started thinking those things or that I didn't tell you."
Finn swallowed as he kept looking at her, not wanting to move an inch until she told him and felt his heart drop into his stomach. He had caused her so much pain, her to be upset and hurt, felt not good about herself, lose weight etc. All of it was making sense, he was the caused of all of this just because he was talking to Rachel in a joking manner but she took it another way. Her not wanting to be at the bonfire, him snuggling up with someone else and causng her to be in a sad mood. He caused her to be insecure about herself, and that hurt him even more. He saw that she wiped a tear that fell down and felt his eyes welled up in tears. "I-I," He started to stutter out and sat down on the nearest rock and stared ahead. He did the one thing that he wouldn't do, he promised that he wouldn't do and he felt sick to his stomach. "T-The one person I swore I would never hurt, I-I hurt...I-I made you think those things because of a..a joke that seemed to be something different..Oh my god Im so stupid." He placed his face into his hands and sniffed before he felt the wetness on the palms of his hands. "Im so sorry, Im so sorry.." He knew that sorry wasn't going to cut it or make her feel better, but he had to say it and looked at her.
Brittany swallowed hard as she frowned deeply while watching him sit down. She know he didn't mean to. She approached him as she knelt down in front of him, seeing him cover his face as she shook her head. "B..Baby, please. Don't say that. You're not stupid." She said and gently wiped his cheeks when he looked at her. "Don't be sorry, it's my fault for taking it so hard. This isn't your fault, okay?" She said while wiping her own cheeks again. "Listen, I love you. And I know you love me back just as much. I'm getting paranoid over one little thing and that's all on me, not you. You didn't know, and you can't be blamed for that." She said while gently taking his hands.
Finn ran his hands over his head as he started to cry even more, beating himself up over and over again and listened to her before looked at her. "I-I hurt you B, I-I," He felt her wiped his cheeks and shook his head as he listened to her. "Its my fault, because I was the one who made it seemed like I was flirting..but I wasnt...Y-you had the right to take it hard, because I hurt you..Yeah its my f-fault, I-I should never make you feel like the way you're feeling and making you cry. Like I am doing right now." He blinked away the tears and let out a shaky breath as he heard her. It was true, he love her back as much and she knows that. "You/have/every right to be paranoid....I made you feel not good enough for me I made you feel like that. Not you." He cupped her cheeks gently as he wiped her cheeks some more with his thumbs. "Listen to me o-okay? You are good, smart, beautiful, enough for me. And I am so sorry for making you think that you are not good enough because you are." He felt her take his hands and sniffed. "You are it for me Brittany S. Pierce, nobody else can make my heart beat like crazy like you can..Alright?"
Brittany could feel her heart breaking more as she watched him cry. She shook her head as she sat down in front of him. "Hey, you never intentionally want to make me feel bad. This isn't your fault, I just, felt down because I was being paranoid." She said and swallowed, wiping the last of her tears. When he cupped her cheeks, her eyes looked up at meet his while she sniffed lightly and listened to every word he said. For days she hadn't been feeling enough for him but now she just wanted to crawl and hide in the hold of his arms. She nodded slightly and sniffed, her vision blurry again from tears. "A-Alright." She whispered while looking at him. "I'm sorry," She apologized again while taking a shaky deep breath.
Finn swallowed as he listened to her, and shook his head as he heard her. "I still made you feel bad though, that's the thing B. I promised that I would never make you feel bad a..and I did. Intentionally or not, I-I broke that promise...Its my fault B, because I made you feel paranoid." He swallowed some more as he made eye contact with her as he talked. For days, he had been raking his brain and feeling in the dumps but now he wanted to hold her close to him and bury his face into her hair like he usually did whenever he held her. He wasn't for sure if he wanted to ruin the safe haven for her, since it was one of the places she could go and feel safe from the world. And he kept ruining things, and he didnt want to ruin that for her. He saw her nod slightly, sniffed as he looked at her and saw her nod slightly. He shook his head at her apologize, wondering why she was apologizing for. "B.."
Brittany shook her head as he blamed himself. "Honey but you didn't mean to. You would only break that promise if you actually felt something for someone else. As far as I see it, that hasn't happened so this ring on my finger means that we're still strong as ever." She said and already felt drained from crying. The late nights at the gym tired her out and the diet along with slight lack of sleep didn't make the situation better. She rubbed her eyes and shrugged slightly. "I'm sorry for not listening a-and I'm sorry for this. If I hadn't been paranoid, we wouldn't be crying and sad." She said quietly and gulped.
Finn listened to her, and sniffed as he heard her before he rubbed the back of his neck some. He looked at her, and listened to her. "But I still hurt you though, I still made you feel all of those things..." He glanced down at the promise that she was wearing, remembering the night that he put it on her and what he told her. He felt drained from crying, the sleepless nights didnt help either and him cleaning his mom's garage didn't help either. He looked back at her as she spoke, and placed his hands on her shoulders. "And Im sorry for hurting you, saying what I said the other day, making you feel paranoid.."He heard her say the word paranoid. "But you had every right to be paranoid though. You thought that you had competition...And Im sorry for making you feel like you weren't good enough and had competitioin." He replied in the same tone and sniffed after wiping his eyes.
Brittany cupped his cheek lightly while forcing herself to wake up more and stop feeling tired. "Not on purpose and it wasn't you. It was me." She said and shrugged, knowing she was trying to shape herself up to be the best girlfriend to him possible. "Baby it's all okay, really, even if you don't need to apologize." She said and swallowed a yawn. She nodded slightly while listening to him and took in a shaky breath, wiping under her eyes when feeling herself want to cry just because of the relief.
Finn felt her cupped his cheeks lightly and took a deep breath. "I still hurt you B. And it wasn't you, it was me." He replied as he looked at her, knowing it was him and not her. He was the one who needed to the better boyfriend this time around instead of her. He needed to become a better boyfriend, or he would end up losing her forever. He needed to be himself again when they first started dating, not this version of him who hurt his girlfriend. "Yeah..I do, I threw myself into cleaning the garage instead of talking to you about this." He fought a yawn, and looked at her. He rubbed her shoulders, knowing that things were going to be different now. He watched her wiped underneath her eyes and blinked away the tears that still threaten to fall.
Brittany shook her head as she sniffed. "No," She said quietly and sat down on the floor to at least rest somehow. She swallowed, shaking her head again. "But you didn't know I was pushing myself to do so much." She said and looked up at him when he rubbed her shoulders. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep that made her keep crying, but the tears just kept falling. "I'm so tired." She breathed out as she sniffed, wiping her eyes again and again as if that'd help stop them from coming.
"I didn't, but I shouldve tried harder and more than I did." Finn replied as he heard her and swallowed as he looked down at her. He stopped his hands, nodding in agreement and sniffed as he wiped his eyes. "Do you want me to carry you back to camp?" He asked softly, wasn't for sure if she wanted him to touch her and carry her but at least he would offer. He knew that he should bring up the situation between her two guy friends and him. He still felt like an idiot, especially when it came down to his conversation with Hunter. His conversation with Sam was a misunderstanding on Sam's part, or something. All he wanted to still hide underneath a rock and isolated himself from ruining anymore of his relationships. He could be wrong about people hating him, but who knows. He rubbed his face as he sniffed and rubbed his eyes.
Brittany frowned as she shook her head again. "How could you when you didn't even know hun?" She questioned and gulped when he didn't touch her. She wanted his hold more than anything. She shrugged slightly, knowing they weren't quite done with the conversation. "N-No," she said and sat up to wake up more no matter how exhausted she was. "I, what's wrong?" She asked, remembering how she didn't know what was wrong on Father's Day and that was the thing too. She needed to pay more attention.
Finn shrugged slightly as he heard her and let out a shaky breath. "I dunno, watched for the signs of you pushing yourself over the edge.." He replied softly as he took a deep breath and let out again, nodded as he heard her. "Okay," He replied as he looked up and knew it could probably destroy her and make her not want to look at him anymore. "I've been, insecure about how I've been making you happy lately...Like, you deserve someone better than me. Who doesn't hurt you, and takes you out to fancy restaurants, doesn't have to worry about money and takes you to a place with fancy ice cream. And doesn't have a lot of fat. That's why I have been going to the gym, so that way. My fat isn't overpowering my body, and smaller body fat count...and the reason why I pushed myself during booty camp is for me to become a better dancer so that way we can have dance battles a..and flips and turns." He said, sniffed as he let out a shaky breath and kept his gaze down onto the ground. "And who doesn't feel threatened in a relationship whenever someone else is doing a better job at making you feel better instead of sad." He sniffed as he blinked away the tears. "And its my fault because I should known better because you love me for me..and not for those things. Well, except for the making you feel better part. And I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore because of it." He remembered that anon. "And I also gotten a message about how weak our relationship is because of my insecurities. And I just brushed it off because it wasn't a big deal because everyone has insecurities." He wiped his cheeks and didn't want to meet her eyes since he didn't know her reaction would be.
Brittany 's heart beat picked up as her stomach turned as he talked. She felt sick, hearing so much has been going on even after she told herself to pay attention. She shook her head, frowning deeply as he talked. "I..I don't care about any of that." She said and gulped. Had she really done this bad a job of being there for him? "I love you. A-and..wow. I.." She said and sniffed. "I'm so sorry I didn't know of this but I love you and I don't care about money, or if you have the biggest muscles. People get jealous, who cares? Single people don't understand duh. People who aren't as in love don't understand either. She rubbed her hands together, forgetting about herself again. It wasn't about her anymore, it wouldn't be. She stood up and gently took his hand, sucking up the fact that she was exhausted. "Come on, let's keep walking." She said and kissed his cheek.
Finn gulped as he heard her, knew that she didnt care about any of that stuff but his insecurities gotten the best of him. He sniffed as he wiped his eyes as he knew that he was letting his demons get the best part of him, again. "Its okay,...I mean, things happened a..and focusing on you is better than focusing on me because your whole world has flipped upside down when we found out about Cassie. And Love is putting someone else's needs before your owns. And we both know that Im stubborn as hell,." He replied, as he looked at her and smiled softly as he listened to her. "I love you too..And I don't care what you look like or if you have money, all I care about is how you're feeling okay and how Im treating you okay? And Im so sorry that I haven't been the best boyfriend, best friend, and support system that you need." He felt her kissed his cheek and stood up, wiping his nose on his sleeve and interlaced their hands together before he gently tugged on her hand for her to come towards him. "And Im sorry for hurting you and making you feel like you have to become someone who you're not, make you feel insecure...I shouldn't have done that and I recognize my behavior. If I do it again, let me know...That way, I can watch Im saying..And if you need time, to forgive me. I understand." He swallowed some as he looked at her, knowing that they need to work on their relationship.
Brittany swallowed while she heard him. That wasn't the case right now. Her things were already pushed aside, but it's okay anyway. Maybe she'd have to go to Cassie to talk. She didn't really know if she was ready for that yet. "I know but still.." She said while shrugging, shaking her head. "You didn't know and it wasn't your fault. It's mine, so, I should deal with it and I will." She said, feeling him tug at her hand. "Babe it's okay. Really, it was an honest mistake." She said and needed to focus on him now. If only there was coffee nearby to wake her up. "Come on, keep telling me about you. Is that all that's wrong?" She questioned.
"It was my fault, its not your fault. So Im gonna deal with it, and I will." Finn replied as he shook his head and started to walk with her. "Its not okay," He pointed out, rubbed his forehead and listened to her as he shook his head. "No, no. Tell me about you, since I rain on your parade Father's day. I can wait." He answered as he looked down at her, not wanting to talk anymore about him. This was about her, and he needed to stop doing this. About making things about him, where they needed to talk about her since he was the one who hurt her. His problems can wait until later. "Besides, we need to focus on you."
Brittany swallowed hard as she shook her head again. "But you're not a horrible boyfriend. You can't tell yourself something that's not true." She said and scratched her head a bit, knowing she hadn't told him about her diet. "Baby don't say that. You're not terrible." She said softly and shrugged, rubbing her eyes. "We basically solved it, really."
Finn looked over at her, looked away and shrugged some. "But I hurt you because of a joke," He replied as he saw her scratched her head a bit and furrowed his eyebrows slightly. "When you said that you gotten books, what other books did you get? And have you been eating?" He questioned, wondering why all of a sudden he was asking her that. Though, he did remember the last time she went through this, she wasn't really eating, eating. "How did we solve it? And I did made you cry."
Brittany shrugged a bit while shaking her head. "But the point is, you didn't mean it. Or intentionally mean to hurt me." She let him know and swallowed hard. Of course he knew her better than anyone. "I..I just got all these books from Barnes & Noble to read and..and..yeah, well, I went on a diet. Kind of, I don't know." She said and looked down. "Okay, fine." She said softly while giving in to talk about it. "I cried because I was scared."
Finn nodded as he heard her, and it was true. He didnt intentionally mean too, he was joking around with Rachel, and she was joking around with Rachel too. "Exactly, I didnt meant to hurt you or intentionally mean to hurt you." He remembered what post she was referred too. "What I meant was, I wouldn't know if you would've thought if she was a better kisser than I am, so that's why I said that I might have competition. Not that I was going to kiss Rachel, besides I dont wanna kiss her. It was misunderstanding and I can see where you were coming from and why you started to think the way you did." He cleared up, wishing that she wouldve came to him to clear up the air than not tell him and waited. He raised an eyebrow when she started to talk and looked over at her. "Baby....What kind of books? And what kind of diet was it?" He asked, and knew that she gave in to talk about it. "Scared of what?"
Brittany took a deep breath as she shook her head. "That's not the message that I was paranoid about. And don't ask me which it really was because I don't really remember it anymore but it matched up with the message I got." She let him know and looked down while rubbing her shoe in the dirt a bit. "Just like, those fat books that you see. The harder they are, the smarter you are, right?" She questioned while biting her bottom lip. "Just giving up sweets and not eating as much as I normally do. Like, no ice cream after dinner. That kinda stuff." She said while sighing. "Scared of how you'd react. Like if you would have been really upset with me."
Finn furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what the message had said and looked at her. That made him wonder more, because what the hell did the message say to make her paranoid? "What was the one that you got?" He questioned, really wondering now and turned his body towards her. "Like the SATs and ACTs books? 'Cause they're pretty thick and fat and scary. But you're already a genius, unless you wanna become a super genius like Sheen did in Jimmy Neutron. Then, if you do then I'll help you." He replied as he listened to her more, knowing that it wasnt as bad like last time, but still. She didnt need to be on a diet. "Baby...and you know what we gonna do when we get back to camp?" He asked, as he listened to her and furrowed his eyebrows once more. "Upset with you because you didnt tell me what was going on?"
Brittany swallowed while sitting down on the ground. "It..It said.." She said and took a deep breath. "It said that you finally got a chance to flirt with your old crush." She said while nodding. "Yeah, some of those. Half those, and the other half just fiction fun books." She said while smliing softly. "Thank you honey." She said and nodded while looking up at him. "What?" She questioned and nodded to assure him he was right. "Yeah.."
"But I wasn't flirting with my old crush though," Finn replied as he joined her on the ground and looked at her after he scooted closer to her. "I mean, like I said five minutes ago. We were joking around, and I said that I might have competition in the kissing department because I wasn't for sure if you would thought that Rachel was better kisser than me. And I could see why people thought we were flirting but we weren't. I don't wanna kiss Rachel. It was a big misunderstanding, and it was never intentionally whatsoever" He cupped her cheek gently and caressed her cheek as he looked at her. "Im so sorry, I really am that I hurt you that way." He smiled softly as he heard her and nodded. "Oh? Like Harry Potter? Or another fiction fun books?" He questioned, knowing that she doesnt have the other books in the series. Or she does and he didnt see them out. "We're gonna have some S'mores, since we missed out on them last weekend. And we're gonna have some soda too." He leaned over and kissed her head softly. "I was more worried, confused and upset because I didnt know what was going on so I could try and fix it."
Brittany shook her head as she listened to him. "I know hun, I know you didn't mean it that way." She said while letting out a small breath. "I let things get to me by thinking about, what if you still did like someone else? Was I not enough? Did I need to look better? Be smarter? That's just what I thought about and I started working out and buying books and began a diet." She said and looked at him when he cupped her cheek, letting her forehead rest on his. "You didn't mean to." She said quietly. "Nah, I asked the store person and they took me to a different section. Before the new ones I just bought, I just reread the first one over and over." She said and smiled softly, cuddling up to him while she let her arms wrap around his middle. "I'm sorry. I should have let you know before."
Finn nodded slightly, knowing what exactly she meant because he had felt that way ever since February but he wasn't going to say anything. Since they were talking about her, finally again and he wanted to keep it that way. "And that's why you didn't let me work out with you?" He asked softly as he felt her forehead rest against his and caressed her cheek with his thumb. "I know, but still.." He replied in the same tone and shrugged a bit. "Ahhh I see, do you have all of the harry potter books?" He asked, making a note on what he was going to get her soon and felt his smile spread across his face when he felt her cuddle up to him and kissed her head as he felt her arms wrapped around his middle. He let out a breath, knowing that he had missed her cuddling up to him like this and rubbed her back as he placed another kiss on her head. "Its okay, but next time. Come and tell me, alright? Since I don't like being in the dark especially when it comes to my best friend and girlfriend being upset." He left one more kiss on her head and looked where they were walking towards. "Wanna continue or go back to camp for some S'mores, soda and maybe something else if you're not too tired."
Brittany nodded while she pecked his lips lightly. "Yeah..I'm sorry for saying no. I didn't want you to see me there pushing myself so much." She said while staying close to him, resting her head on his side while closing her eyes. She was so comfortable and would be able to sleep any second. "No, not yet. I read all of them a long time ago because I borrowed them but I haven't bought them." She said while nodding, smiling at the kiss on her head. "Alright." She agreed while yawning. She shrugged, not caring what they did since they made up now. "I dunno." She murmured softly while yawning again.
Finn returned the peck, and kissed her head one more. "Its okay...I would've carried you out anyways if I saw you pushing yourself so much." He replied as he kept close to her, wanting to snuggle into her like he usually did. "And I know what Im gonna get you now, I mean. Everyone needs the Harry Potter book series." He replied and felt her nod against his lips as he rubbed her shoulder, liking that they made up now. He smirked when he heard her yawn, remembering their discussion between them before they left camp. "Thank you, and are you getting tired? Or are you faking to be tired?" He teased her gently and stifled a yawn himself, not realizing how exhausted he was. "Up to you babe, you're the one who's getting tired."
Brittany smiled softly as she nodded. "You would have totally made a scene." She said and lazily nudged his side. "Baby you don't have to, but thank you for thinking of me." She said and giggled when he teased her. "I'm faking it." She said while rubbing her eyes. "I dunno baby." She whispered while feeling herself started to drift off into sleep. She shook her head quickly and sat up to wake herself up.
Finn shook his head, knowing that he wouldn't have and kissed her head once more. "No, I wouldn't have. I think you're getting me confused with your other boyfriend Stefan." He teased her again with a smile as he felt her nudged his side lazily as he let out a chuckle. "I want too Pierce, and you're welcome. Im always gonna think about you so." He laughed as he heard her and shook his head. "Uh-huh, sure you are." He saw her rub her eyes and stretched out once she sat up more. "But, Im gonna teach you something besides fishing."
Brittany giggled as she shook her head. "Nuh uh." She said while rubbing her head. She was starting to get a headache from the lack of sleep and it wasn't feeling good. She managed to let out another giggle while looking over at him. "Whatcha gonna teach me?"
"Oh yeah, with that Italian blood he has." Finn teased, knowing that it wasn't cool of him saying this but he would apologize when it's needed. He raised an eyebrow, kissed along her neck and sucked gently at her neck. "Drive? And I have to show you something too, so basically this weekend is where you get to see the other half of me that nobody has seen. Well besides my mom."
Brittany shook her head as she pout at him. "Nooo." She whined while stuffed her face in the crook of his neck. She couldn't help but smile when he sucked softly at her neck. "You sure you wanna teach me?" She questioned while crawling onto his lap, closing her eyes as she rested her head back on his shoulder, liking every kiss on her neck.
Finn wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head. "Im sorryyyy." He replied as he pecked the small hickey that he had made on her neck and nodded gently as he kissed her neck some more. "Mhm, more than sure. Besides, it's gonna be fun." He answered with a muffle voice and kissed down her neck before he pulled away with a smile.
Brittany nodded as she pecked his neck. "It's okay." She said while opening her eyes, feeling dizzy as she closed them again. "Mhm." She hummed before falling asleep right there in his lap, her head on his shoulder.
Finn smiled softly when he felt her peck on his neck and rubbed her back. "Alright, I gotta get you back to camp before you fall asleep." He replied after he heard her hum and glanced down at her as he saw her eyes close. "And Im late at getting you back, good thing Ive been able to do this." He placed on hand on the ground, gotten up with one hand and was able to get up just fine. He knew that they were going to be sleeping in tomorrow, since she had been pushing herself to hard. After a while, he made it back with her in his arms and walked over to their tent before he unzipped the tent. He slipped off his shoes, along with taking her shoes off and kissed her head as he zipped the tent back up. "Okay baby, Im gonna lie you down onto the mattress alright?"
Brittany peacefully slept in his arms as he carried her back to the tent. She woke up slightly as she heard the zip of the tent, nodding a bit when she heard his question. She let him lay her down while taking in a small breath. She was beyond exhausted and desperately wanted to sleep through the night. She had a feeling tonight was going to be just that.
Finn covered her up after making sure that her pockets were empty and slipped off his hoodie along with his sweatpants. He knew that he was going to keep a very close eye on her here and back home, if something bad happened to her, he couldn't be able to live with himself since he wouldn't be able to live with himself. He slid underneath the covers and rolled onto his side, carefully wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head. "Night B,"
Brittany snuggled up to him when he slid into bed and rested her head on his chest, letting the beat of his heart sooth her to sleep easily. "M'night." She mumbled while relaxing in his hold.
Finn felt her snuggled up to him and made sure the covers were still covering them. He felt her head on his chest, intertwined their legs the best he could and closed his eyes. For once, he was able to relax and slept good that night with the love of his life in his arms.
