Everything had happened so quickly. Seok couldnât deal with the huge crowd in the warehouse, needing some fresh air. Chucking the large metal door open, the boy dug his hands into his pockets, the cool autumn air slamming against his skin. The boy looked around before pulling out a small metal box containing everything he needed to get his daily dosage of morphine. The whole process was a quick and easy sequence, having done it a million times. As he snorted the white powder, the boy let out a sigh, the drug immediately give him that extra push of happiness, or at least he made himself believe that. Dusting off the remains, the boy made his way back into the building, hardly two steps in as he heard the explosion blast several feet from him. Before he knew it, the boy was stuck under a large metal pole surrounded by rubble, his ears ringing from the sharp noise of the explosion. By the time he had opened his eyes he could only see flames and distressed people who appeared to be screaming, his hearing so severely damaged, a serene calmness came over him at the white noise. The morphine was kicking in more than ever, barely realising he was even stuck under a 350 pound shaft until he tried to move. His perception of pain, space and time were altered by the drug, his conscious trying to fight the calm; to be terrified. The powder hadnât been fully absorbed yet, his mind still rational enough to eventually realise the danger he was in, trying to push the pole off him with no luck. The flames kept getting bigger and the smoke was starting to lower itself, carbon monoxide filling his lungs before he shouted out desperately for help, hoping the one thing he loved most wouldnât be the one to consume him: fire. @gpjayz
Break It Down || Cammie & Jay

She had gotten paired with him. Ok yes, she could see why. Obviously she had a class with Jay and all she got told to do was to escort him from one class to another. Cammie didnât know why, other than Headmaster Vauxhall wanted her to walk this shithead to class. The blonde prayed silently to Merlin that he wouldnât need her to carry his bag or whatnot. That was just doing too much work. Escorting someone to class was already too much work. Headmaster Vauxhall really expected her to get to class on time. The thought of it made her want to snort.
So Cammie met up with him after class, waiting for him in the back of the room, hands folded over her chest and a scowl on her face. âOk mudblood. Letâs get out of here. And donât expect me to carry your bags because Iâm not doing that shit for you.â The walk to the next class wasnât awful, but normally she never went straight from one class to the next. There was usually an occasion snog or even a quickie somewhere behind the winding stairs, a perk of having memorised the back roads of Hogwarts.Â
No way was her usual schedule about to be fucked up by some nuisance she had to walk to class. She could see him occasionally struggle and she thought to herself that he was weak. What incredible facades, the strength, when he was really weak, she thought. But she still took a left and a right, making sure that he was following her. âKeep up, Griff. Iâm not waiting for your slow ass.âÂ
And finally she reached a small passageway, secluded from the rest of Hogwarts. âPut your bags down, you puss.â In the sleeve of her robes, she pulled a flask out and proceeded to take a long swig from it. âGo ahead and judge me all you want, but I usually get laid between these classes so I have to compensate in some ways.â Another swig. âSo how did the great and powerful Jackson Jones get an escort?âÂ

Aiden made his way down to Jaydenâs apartment. It didnât require much thought, besides, the route was already memorised in his head no matter where he was coming from. The whole world around him was spinning and thatâs how he knew how much of a bad idea had been mixing the dinnerâs wine with the scotch at the party without nothing really in his stomach since the day before. He wasnât hungry, however. He was... nothing. He was upset at Jayâs confession, but he couldnât ignore what heâd said, neither what had happened that morning, what he realised as Jay spoke to his mother. Aiden didnât want to think about it. He didnât want to think at all. Dragging his feet step by step to the bedroom, Aiden managed to get to Jayâs bed and let himself fall onto the mattress, eyes falling shut almost immediately.
August 27th || AJ
August 27th, 2016.
It was only seven in the morning when Aiden drove to the laboratory to pick up his test results. He hadnât slept much that night, anyway. There was no point staying in bed any longer when every time he closed his eyes all he could see was the image of his mother that same morning, six years before. He hadnât told Jay heâd taken the tests, he hadnât even spoken to Jay ever since their big argument, and while Aiden knew he had been the one wrong about the whole thing, he couldnât bring himself to apologise. He wasnât in the right state of mind to talk to anyone. The only way he found to make it up to him was to take the tests by himself and put them on his mailbox for him to see.Â
He didnât open the envelope until he was back in his car. He was certain he was clean, still his hands were shaking as they took out the results, only confirming what he already knew. A sigh of relief left Aidenâs lips. He didnât even took time to read down below, the small letters that said there was a high amount of methylphenidate, a drug contained in his regular medication. Aiden drove back to the Oaks and asked the man behind the desk in the Red Oaks to place the envelope in Jaydenâs mailbox and disappeared again, hoping he would check his mail before leaving for the marathon he knew would be taking place that morning. Aiden barely had mind for breathing or keeping his regular functions.Â
Aiden had no interest in staying home that morning with how busy he was sure downtown would get. Instead, he drove to his old home, where he grew up as a child with his whole family started, where it broke apart. It was a difficult day for Aiden, it had been since 2010 and it hadnât gotten any easier with time. It seemed as if getting back to that house was a measure of how well Aiden had assimilated the facts, but nothing had absolutely changed from that first day, except that maybe, he allowed himself to cry. The residence was now empty, unfurnished except for that one room. Not even his father had dared to go in after that humid day of August. Aiden couldnât do it either. He stood before the door, his hand on the doorknob, but tears beat him to take over control of himself before he could even move an inch. Aiden cried until his legs gave up, until his lungs struggled for air and his throat hurt from the effort, until it was time for him to meet up with father by his motherâs grave.Â
Neither of them spoke to each other. They stood by Alicia Bradyâs crypt in perfect silence, side by side. Aiden didnât cry at all, knowing what his father thought of tears, the kind of man they made him, or better said, how less of a man did crying make him. He held everything back, his words, his tears, even his air as his hands closed in tight fists, nails digging against the skin of his palms to control his inner pain, make it superficial instead. The ringing of Lucasâ phone disturbed the moment. Aiden wanted to tell him to piss off, that not even on such day could he dedicate it to his mother, his once beloved wife, but it was no surprise to Aiden, considering it had been him who reconstructed the story of Aliciaâs death to make it sound less dramatic, as he called it. Being honest, all he wanted was for him to leave, in fact. Lucas gave Aiden a look before he stepped away, back to his car a few feet away from him, giving him enough space for Aiden to fall on his knees, his strength giving up, leaving only a shadow of what Aiden usually was hovering a broken younger version of himself, shedding tears over his motherâs grave.Â

Summer Paradise | AJ

It was just the beginning of the week by the lake, and Aiden was already starting to feel the weight of the stress vanishing from his body, leaving behind another heavy weight of relaxation that made him feel sleepy and drowsy around ninety percent of the time. It was nothing but nice. He had been in some of the most beautiful places in the world, yet this escapade barely a couple hours away from downtown seemed to be the best one so far. He blamed it on the weather, the wind against his face, the lake and the sound of water hitting the shore of the fake beach just steps away, or the fact that if he opened his eyes, he could see Jay sitting across from him, both of them enjoying the silence as they once had years ago. Or maybe it was just a mix of all of the above, but Aiden only cared about the wave of joy and comfort that hit him just by taking a deep breath in that moment. âWhat are you doing there?â The male asked when the seemingly endless typing Jay had kept going for the past fifteen minutes or so suddenly stopped.
Friday Night | AJ

Millenium Park was almost at its fullest as it usually was during the whole summer, specially when a Chicago classic was showing that night. The grass concourse was completely full. Groups of people drinking beer, talking too loudly to even listen to the movie playing several feet away from them, but everyone knew the lines for Ferris Buellerâs Day Off, so no one was completely annoyed either. Other couples had gone classier, sharing wine and cheese over plaid blankets as if they were in some cliche picnic.Â
Aiden didnât stray too far away from that idea, except that they sat in one of his bedsheets, lacking one of those plaid blankets. He did bring the wine... Except that he forgot the glasses so they had to take sips straight from the bottle, which Aiden didnât mind it at all that much, just like he didnât mind not watching the movie for the hundredth time, instead, unconsciously keeping his eyes on Jayden, his features, how they changed when he laughed at the movie, when he frowned or how he reacted to the world around them. In three years together, they never went out like this, not around the city at least, and even though Aiden hadnât been exactly acting as publicly as the other may have wanted to, this was more than an effort. Even more considering his office was just across the park.Â
puppy love | aiden & jay
@bluejay-andrews
Never in his life did Aiden imagine himself as a dog owner. He admired animals from the distance, but he never even fancied fish as much to have his own, not as a kid, even less as an adult. Oh, but that goddamned fluffy little of fur had to stare at him as if he was a fallen star on Earth, and it was perhaps the new chipper mood Aiden had been having going on since the weekend that had warmed his heart, soften it even, to the point of taking that little dog with no name tag and give him his own: Goliath.Â
He was more than excited about it. He couldnât even figure out yet how to take care of the little creature but he wanted to show it around. He thought of Maria, and figured that no matter how late it could be, the girl would most likely be awake so soon he found himself on his way to the Red Oak with the little puppy in his arms. It wasnât a new thing that he snuck into the girlâs apartment, but it was a new realisation, or at least a new thought that he had been here before and not to see Maria. He shook his head and went to the redheadâs room only to not find her there. Aiden thought of leaving, but another glimpse at the door across the hallway gave his legs a different direction as he found himself in Jaydenâs room, under way too different circumstances than last time.Â
Jay was deeply asleep. Aiden couldâve expected that, given the hour of the night heâd decided to break into the apartment, but for some reason he wasnât disappointed, reminding him of nights he just watched him fall asleep next to him. Aiden smiled for himself as he entered further into the room trying to check if Jay was at least half awake. He had come this far. Aiden had to dodge a few clothes here and there carefully, almost proud of himself as he almost made it to his bedside, but managing to trip over a shirt in the floor, making a loud noise when he held onto his night table.
