It was a brilliant idea. Derek would get a chance to relax and Stiles would be able to get some more information out of him. Ever since Erica told him about Derekās panic attacks he had wanted to help Derek learn how to get through them. But if the boy didnāt reach out to him then how was he to help? This would be the easiest way to get him to talk. Stiles had gotten some joints from someone he knew a few days ago so he grabbed them and was off to Derekās loft. He arrived, parked his jeep, and got out before pounding on the door.Ā āItās me. Let me in.ā

After confirming their meeting spot, Delaney made her way towards the shaved ice machine, eyes scanning the crowd for Derek. It wasnāt long before she spotted him, and her smile widened as she lifted the hem of her dress further, weaving through the hub of students to reach him.Ā āGood evening!ā She greeted, leaning in for a hug.Ā āItās good to see you, Derek. How have you been?ā Glancing at the shaved ice machine, she asked,Ā āDid you order already? What flavor did you go with? Iāve always been partial to grape myself.ā
What: Elliott goes to see Derek to see what it would take to be brothers again... No matter what.
Elliott didn't know why he'd done it, why he'd text Derek at all but here he was, standing in the Ghoulies turf and waiting, scared for Derek to meet him. He had gone to the House of the Dead but he hadn't knocked, merely sent a text to let the older man know he was here. He hated this, hated that he could even be considering turning his back on the Serpents but he could feel it. Drug use, alcohol abuse... Everything meant he was becoming one of them.
The fact that Elliott even had the gal to reach out to him meant that Derek had to waste his time in his little half brotherās presence. It was annoying and took him away from his search for Bruce, but whatever the fuck Elliott wanted to talk about could be dealt with quickly. Or he could have him killed. He answered the door himself and found Elliott standing in the doorway, gesturing for him to come in. It might be his last look at the outside world as it was. āWhat do you want, Elliott?ā Derek wandered into the house, several ghoulie eyes glaring in their direction. āAnd youād better make it quick.ā
Elliott took a deep breath and he gulped, "I wanna talk terms" he spoke, "To become one of yours. Maybe to be inside eyes for you from the Serpents?"
Derek let out a burst of laughter before he could stop himself. āSo let me get this straight. After years of you being a serpent, you come to me and say āhey bro Iām gonna be a serpent spy for youā and you expect me to believe youāre on my side?ā
"Look, I just had my face smashed into a bar and got dicked over for drugs" he spoke, "Come on Derek, I'll do whatever it takes. I can try and find out where Bruce is"
āYeah I see you got a little bruised in the face. But why the fuck should I believe anything that comes out of your mouth?ā He fisted his hands into Elliottās shirt, lifting him up off the ground with ease. āYouāve began kissing the Anderson asses for years. So why the fuck do you want to be working for your big brother?ā
Elliott looked down at the fists and gulped, "Cause I'm sick of the Serpents. Sick of being reminded that I'm very hard to trust being your brother. Derek, I wanna spy for you... Become a ghoulie... Whatever it fucking takes man even it means being your bitch like Aaron was I don't give a fuck"
Derek lifted a broody, thick eyebrow and set his brother down on the ground. This is exactly the kind of thing heād expect the idiots to try, send his own brother in as a ādouble agentā and Elliott would warn them when Derek was about to strike. Keeping him out of the loop would be simple enough, but he still had about as much trust in Elliott as he did Bruce. āYou realize how idiotic that sounds, right? You wanna be one of us because the serpents are constantly saying youāre basically one of us?ā He shook his head. āYouāre not worth the effort it would take for me to even pretend to believe any of this shit. But Iāll tell you what,ā Derek reached into his pocket and withdrew a switchblade. āKill one of them. I donāt care who. And bring the corpse back here. You do that and Iāll initiate you.ā
Elliott looked at Derek and gulped, "Kill one of them?" He asked, "Any one of them?". He was shocked, he was scared and he knew he had to make a choice now, "Derek... Will that be enough for you to believe me?" He asked, grasping the blade
āMhm. Any one. You kill one of the Snakes and drag their corpse over to me, and Iāll let you be a Ghoulie for life. Iāll even look after you.ā He knew Elliott wouldnāt have the stomach for it or even the betrayal, but itād get him out of Derekās hair.
Elliott nodded and took the knife, "Fine, I'll have it done by the end of the week" he spoke quietly, "You'll be here I assume?"
āAlmost assuredly. Though Iām a little busy right now. Iām sure you can put the pieces together if Iām not.ā
"Pieces of what?" He stopped, "If I do this, if I become a Ghoulie, will I be your spy?"
āBuddy boy Iām pretty sure if you kill a serpent youāre not gonna be able to do much spying.ā Derek rolled his eyes. āBut sure. You have my word. If you somehow manage to inconspicuously kill a serpent and bring me their body, Iāll make you a Ghoulie.ā
"I have a plan" he said with a nod, "And I won't be getting caught I can assure you of that" he spoke.
āUh huh.ā Derek added shortly, looking disinterested in the conversation already. āYou do that, Elliott.ā
Elliott turned on his heel, "I'll see you by the end of the week"
Isaac had been working at Peteās diner for the past three years, and it suited him just fine. He lived in an old caravan out back, where he had everything he needed. He only worked the night shifts, since he preferred it that way. It was less people in the diner, and most used the big parking lot as a truck stop, which it basically was. There was also six pumps for gas, and a little convenience store connected to the diner.Ā When the owner, Pete, retired, Isaac was given the deed and ownership of the diner, and he kept the name, and everything in it. The only thing that had changed over time was the walls. Seeing as art had been his passion in school, he painted on the walls, filling them with intricate and detailed drawings, and paintings of animals, and trucks. It was a surreal mixture, but he enjoyed it.
At the moment, it was two am, and the diner was empty, and he was standing by a wall, pencil in hand, as he so often did when he was alone, drawing on the wall. He heard the sound of a truck pulling up and stopping, and he figured someone would be in to get food eventually. Isaac decided to continue to draw on the wall until the chime of the bell above the door went off. What he hadnāt realised was that heād forgotten his name tag this night.

What was wrong with her? She had broken her one rule she had set for herself after a time or two of getting burned. Waking up the following morning after her tryst with the younger Anderson and immediately put the pieces together, the realization of what had happened hitting her like a hangover should have if she were human. Even though it was her apartment, she untangled herself from Tristanās arms and slipped out as quietly and quickly as she could.
It didnāt take long for his name to pop up on her phone, but she simply turned it off, unable to explain her freak out to him at the moment. That would mean admitting her feelings for him not only to him, but to herself as well. Feelings that had developed since the first day they met and only grew stronger the more they were together, but he was everything she couldnāt afford to have an at this moment, during the biggest hunt of her hunter career.
So instead of facing reality, she set off to preoccupy herself around town. Unfortunately, it was too early and too sad to visit any of the local bars, so she resorted to multiple coffee shops and a long workout to sweat out her feelings. Soon enough, she made it through most of the day until it was about time for the sun to set and she had to figure out where she was staying the night. Not her place, in case he was still there. She was just considering her options when an old car sputtered past her, revving its engine as it turned the corner, and the perfect solution dawned on her.
That old saying, get over someone by getting with another, could just be the answer she was looking for. A couple of minutes later, she was knocking on the garage door of the mechanics business and slipping inside. āHey there handsome,ā she greeted, walking up to her friend and wrapping her arms around his neck before kissing him.
I just read a comment on a post where a Scott stan straight up claimed that Derek didn't fight back at the end of 2x12 when Scott made him bite Gerard because he agreed with Scott's plan. Just completely ignoring the fact that Derek was paralyzed and begging Scott not to do it. I know I shouldn't even be surprised, because Scott stans will go to crazy lengths to pretend that he is perfect, but I am still just gobsmacked. I mean, how delusional do you have to be??
Seriously? That is one gross case of victim blaming.
What Scott did that night was terrible, and I wish Derek wouldāve never forgiven him for it. Iām glad Corey at least reacted appropriately. Itās one of those things that show you that just because Scott wants to do good and be good doesnāt mean he is. What he did there wasnāt heroic, it was abuse.
And that anyone could try to excuse it away just shows their true colors.
After heād gotten home, his dad confronted him, and asked him a lot about who had driven him home. Since he hadnāt answered, and kept his mouth shut, heād gotten beaten fairly badly. He was certain that heād gotten at least a cracked rib, from the blows to his ribs and back. His whole body ached, and on top of it all, heād been crammed into the freezer the whole night. By the time half the school day had passed, Isaac collapsed from how hard it had become to breathe. Heād been sent to the school nurse, whoād called an ambulance due to his bruises on his chest and back, and the fact that he couldnāt breathe properly. It was how he found himself stuck in a hospital bed with a tube up his nose, to help him get enough oxygen into his blood.
He hated hospitals, and it didnāt help that his father had already threatened him once about what would happen if he told anyone what had actually happened. He was just glad he had gotten his phone from the nurse. It meant that he could text Derek. With a lot of effort, and a fair amount of pain, Isaac managed to type up a coherent text and send it off to Derek.Ā
{text} Iām in the hospital, please donāt make me be alone.
