The Submissive Auction and subsequent Mock Claims always brought about Delaney’s favorite time of year at the Academy. Of course, some found the event to be strange, though she hadn’t ever. Upon learning she’d been paired with Derek, Delaney had immediately begun to imagine what their time together might be like. Arriving back at her suite, she too felt nerves similar to what she was sure the man was feeling.

Delaney’s thoughts swam through her mind, the rapids never seeming to slow as she felt herself being pulled under, under with the weight of them. With the weight of what was happening to the students she cared for so much, at the school she viewed as a second home. Wrapping her arms around herself, she set off in the direction of her suite, having caught a bit of a chill from the night air and having realized there wasn’t anything she’d be able to figure out or pinpoint at such a late hour. 

Seeing the photos take over her phone, Cassie was stunned. She couldn’t process any of what she saw about anyone else, all she could see was the food that was shown with her face all around it. It was like someone knew. Or was someone saying she ate too much? Had she been seen eating? Or not eating? Or worse? Her heart raced as panic settled in and all she could think to do was head to the fridge, pull everything out, and throw it out the window. Bit by bit, she cleared the food she kept for appearances out and when it was all gone, she leaned against the open window frame, looking up at the sky.

After all that had happened, and everything she’d seen not only about herself but about her classmates, her peers, the other students on Luxe’s campus she took the responsibility for ensuring the care of, Delaney needed nothing more than to clear her head. Slipping on her slippers, she wrapped herself in the warmest robe she could find and made her way from her suite. It was an incredibly rare occurrence, seeing Delaney O’Neil not dressed to the nines, wearing heels and a power stance like royal robes she shrouded herself in every day. She’d been considering heading back when something fell from above, landing directly in her path. Upon closer inspection, she realized it was...An apple? Looking up, she caught sight of the other Elite leaning out her window. “Are you alright, Cassie?” She called, concern in her voice. 

Daren was still in but of a shock about what happened, he tried to shake it off and focus on making sure Delaney was good. “Uh yeah sure anything but scary I think I’m done with scary stuff for a bit” Daren said “do you have any snacks? Or are you hungry for anything food?” He asked her

Now that most everyone has had a chance to get settled down after everything that happened over the holidays, I’ve been brainstorming ways to try and get the focus off all the crazy shit that went down. That way we’ll get a chance to learn something new about people, and hopefully it’ll brighten things up around here.
